I used to visit this place years ago when it was called something else (Lucky something..) and the food was outstanding. So good that my dad and I looked forward to it. Clearly ownership has changed hands since then but while the place looks exactly the same and the service is still pretty good – the food has gotten so lazy and cheaply made that the sauce tastes like it’s all the cheapest canned versions of whatever they thought would pass for that dish. And I mean bad like somebody went to WinCo and got a flat of powdered or canned sauce and then didn’t bother to even try to dress it up, much less taste for seasoning before serving.

The owners are very nice. I think the flavor of the food was good! I like how they seasoned the broccoli it might have had a sweet and sour sauce on it. That was really good. I think some of the meat tasted slightly stale but others tasted good! The fortune cookie we had was almost stale tasting. I think overall the food was middle of the road OK and I would and probably will come back but would like to see the food keeping it fresh and with more peas and carrots and vegetables in the mix of the food. I say give them a try if you want some of this style of food!

I ordered kung pow chicken, expecting a nice plate of veggies, chicken, and spicy sauce. It was awful! I got stringy chewy dried out chicken in some type of BBQ sauce with a few peanuts buried underneath. The waitress asked me if it was okay and I said no, I thought it would have veggies. It’s not very good. She argued back it was their most popular dish but admitted it’s not like other places. I would have thought she would have offered to add some vegetables or a discount since I did not eat it, but she did not. Instead she ignored me the rest of our visit and only addressed my husband. The worst dining experience I have ever had, and I left hungry and frustrated. I will tell everyone not to go there, and if you do, DON’T order string dry kung pow chicken.

I have been looking at the reviews of Royal Panda and I was a liitle shocked that there are a lot of bad reviews. I understand people have different views. We have been eating at Royal Panda for over 20 years. We know the owners and they have been friendly and gracious for all those years. I’m surprised I have never given a review about their food.

Ordered the Singapore Street noodles with chicken. Came home and it had pork and shrimp. Their online menu doesn’t mention pork/shrimp and I don’t eat pork or shrimp. My second order was chicken fried rice. The chicken was extremely tough and chewy. I picked out the tiny amount of chicken, even then, it was probably the worst fried rice I’ve ever had.

Best Chinese food available. We live 120 miles away and drive down just to have lunch here. Our favorites are the crispy Egg rolls, Egg flower soup chock full of egg and vegetables. Main course is the Shrimp and Vegetables. Ann is our favorite waitress, she takes great care of her customers.
