Homey, not fancy but does the job. I went for the buffet. Not top-tier flavor, but it was open. Had to ask for Naan, no smoky flavor but it was fresh. But they had Chai tea on the buffet so that’s a definite plus. Help was smiling.

The food was great. The wait was a bit much. Give yourself more time.

Living in NYC for over a decade had me eating in dozens of different Indian restaurants. This joint has me missing my old stomping grounds in Manhattan. Extremely tasty Nepalese cuisine and gracious service. Love their lunch buffet!

The food is good, but they routinely mess up take out orders. Ordering online appears to work fine, but you arrive to pick up and they can’t find your order. After much rummaging around they finally find it, apologize, say it will be ready in 6 minutes, or something like that, then you sit and wait 15-20 minutes because they only just started cooking your food after you arrived to pick up. They are very kind and apologize profusely, then it happens again, almost every time.

The food is really good. I will not call this 100 percent authentic Indian or Nepalese but whatever they are cooking is tasty. We had chicken sekawa kebob, biriyani, chilli chicken and onion kulcha. Portions were huge. You should really give this a try if living nearby.

I remember when Royal Kitchen first opened. It was amazing. The food was great, decor was gorgeous and the staff cared about service. Fast forward a few years later. Ownership has changed along with the whole staff. Everything has gone downhill. Yesterday I went for the first time in a long time for an order, to go. We were told during the call that the order would be ready “in 25 minutes”. 50 minutes later, I was still waiting at the counter, and it wasn’t even busy. There was literally no order coming out of the kitchen in the 30 minutes I was there. I was also told that they wouldn’t honor the lunch special ($12.99 for any chicken item + 1 naan) because “lunch time starts at 12 sharp”. So I guess you’re out of luck if you want to order your lunch at 11:50? I wouldn’t know since the flier only mention the end time (2pm) I paid $35 for a tikka masala, a garlic naan and a mango lassi. I feel staff has been quite dishonest all around. It was the last time they saw my money. So unfortunate.

2 full hours to get food 10 minutes away, for an order at 7 pm. I called after an hour and they said that they were just finishing it up. I tried calling again after 40 minutes, but no one picked up. Someone called and said it would be 10 minutes. 20 minutes later, the food arrived.

Royal Kitchen is an excellent restaurant with a large buffet of Indian and Nepalese cuisine. The service is always great and the interior is bright and colorful. They serve a full buffet for lunch and have a menu for dinner. Also be advised they are closed on Mondays. If you’re looking for a quick and delicious meal, be sure to stop by!

Absolutely delicious food. Service was excellent both times I attended here. The server was kind and courteous. He even made my order himself. This is the place to go for Indian and Nepali food.
