We stop here every summer from Buffalo, NY while visiting family in Greenbush. It’s a MUST stop! The hot and twisted slaw is amazing. The brisket quesadillas are outstanding! And don’t get me started on the soup! I wanted to lick the bowl!

This place is my go to for quality bbq. The brisket has been consistently spot on, never have I gotten a dry serving. The pulled pork has been delicious every time and the ribs are excellent. His mustard slaw is the best mustard slaw I’ve ever had, I literally buy quarts of it to go for any family bbq. The staff if always friendly and inviting, never had a bad experience with any part of the many times I’ve dined in. My favorite is the brisket sandwich with spicy slaw on top. I think I’m gonna go there now for dinner. Best barbecue I’ve found in the area, bar none, and I’ve had bbq in every state from here to Texas, all the way over to Florida.

First time visit, came highly recommended. Did not disappoint! We ordered take out to bring to the beach. We went out on the patio and waited. The server even brought my homemade chips and pimento cheese dip out while we waited. We split a pit platter and it’s perfect smoke and flavor!! We will be making the hour drive regularly to get the meats by the pound to go.

Pulling in and seeing the smoke pouring out of the back and the smells coming from the bukding were enough to satisfy Hands down the best BBQ around period. The brisket is absolutely to die for. I have had brisket from Michigan all the way down to Florida and over to Texas and back up again and I have never found a brisket that even comes close. The atmosphere is very welcoming and warm, you can tell the owners love this place as much as they do the people. Everything we got was superb. The ribs were very tender, pork rinds were so fresh and very well seasoned. The creamed corn was so unique and delicious.

Wow!! I’ve been told that it’s very difficult to find good restaurants “up north.” If that’s so, imagine trying to find good barbeque! Well, this place is IT!! My hubby and I are “kindasewers” when it comes to smoked meats and let me just say that this place was extremely shocking – shockingly FANDANGTASTIC!!! We both agreed that the ribs were about the best we’ve ever had and the green beans and creamed corn were outstanding. I just wish we didn’t live almost three hours away.

Ordered 3 meat platter only got 2 meats and no corn bread. Brisket was over peppered but moist and cooked well. Ribs were dry and slightly overcooked. Beans tasted like chili, not baked beans. The Mac and cheese was very good. Prices shown online and menu are incorrect.

Had the chicken sandwich and sassy slim sandwich. The chicken was really good, especially with the addition of pickles. The sassy slim was good, but the chipotle aoli covered the flavor of all of the vegetables. The bacon was thick and crisp, really good. Both came with house made chips, which were, again, had too much seasoning on them. The mustard slaw was not good…. too much vinegar. All in all, the food is as advertised and not too expensive.
