Moved back to Fairbanks after 12 years and was beyond thrilled to eat here again. Read the reviews and it looked to still be amazing even with the changes. Finally ordered tonight… the cheesesteak was barely filled into the bread, which was hard as rock itself. The beer battered fries were burnt to a crisp. The cheesesteak mixture itself was still amazing as ever, but I ate it with a fork instead of the bread. The burger was overdone and dry. The steak fries were good. And they weren’t busy at all. Over all 3/5 only because of the nostalgia.

Excellent service. The food was fresh and the atmosphere is very comfortable. Prices are reasonable. They have pool tables upstairs Try the cheesecake, you won’t regret it.

I’ve got the most tasty and tender steak. I did not get so good steak for a long time traveling through the US. Great place to eat and visit. Highly recommend.

Karaoke on Fridays & Saturdays, heck yea! Had an amazing time with the great bartenders and a host who’ll back you up with either good vocals aaaand screaming rock stuff… didn’t expect to find this on my visit to fairbanks but glad i did. It’s upstairs when you walk in, the crowd was mixed with military, locals, theater people and tourists like me which was cool because they seemed to enjoy every type of music! Crowds at some of the bars around town seemed rowdy so it was fun to find a group who take you in as family. Def coming back! Host uses Karafun which is has 49,000 songs so they have everything!

Great lunches and dinners. It’s not a steakhouse like you would think of but they do have great steaks!! Everything I’ve eaten there has been good. It’s small town and the atmosphere needs a bit of updating but with friendly folks and good food, who can argue? And just like most places in town, they could use more workers. Oh and they have a pretty decent salad bar. I’ve not heard any rowdy people from the bar side… seemed fairly quiet every time I’ve been there!

The atmosphere is lacking but the food is great!. Western chicken w/ the ‘gold sauce’ is a favorite. The beer battered fries are yummmmyyyy. Nice place to go get a low key lunch/dinner. Had a few off visits in the past but within the past year customer service has been so much better and the cook is always on point. Although this is a steakhouse, I have not ever had a steak.

Very pricey! For a 20 dollar cheesesteak 8 inch sub, you’d think an adequate amount of cheesesteak! I was alone. Bloody mary 10 dollars!

I ordered Nachos, which on the menu states verbatim “choose steak or chicken, layered Nachos topped with beans, cheese tomatoes onions olives sour cream and guacamole” 16 bucks and this is what I received. Some dry chips and unseasoned ground beef. When I called back the completely unhelpful Mitchell said that is what I asked for. I said Nachos. I never said I wanted just chips and dry ground beef. Jr said he voided it but I still have yet to see the money go back onto my card. Completely ridiculous.
