Just a really sad experience here on a Friday afternoon. I wasn’t sure if the Severin store was even open. Very dark inside with NO ONE else here. No lights, heat lamps, games – nada. When I walked in a gentleman (the owner?) grabbed one of two pizzas on top of the oven and put it on the counter and turned around to go into the back room. I had to ask him if it was what I ordered to which he said “yeah.” No offer to provide plates or napkins. Seriously, it looked like this Round Table’s last day in operation. The pizza itself was cool, not hot. This was our first visit here in a while, as we have been here in the past for parties. This is a “one and done” for us. Too bad, because we LOVE their Gourmet Veggie pizzas! Will go to the other restaurant from now on and wish the owner all the best in his/her future.

Stopped by around 3:45-3:50 pm today, Monday. There was nobody at the counter and no one came out even after 15 mins. There was a table of 4 -5 guys at a table that we originally thought were employees. They said they were not employees and that the employees had “disappeared” a couple of times already. Not sure if employees were in back but we left, went to Santee Round Table and are now enjoying a great pizza, arrived quickly,, and great, friendly service.

The pizza was good, the tables were clean…but…the bathroom smelled like urine that had been in the toilet for weeks and I was almost gaging. The manager has been there for years and is very unfriendly to the point of rude. This isn’t just my opinion, many of the people in our party felt the same and have been here in the past also. They do not serve alcohol so pizza and beer is not an option at this Round Table. If you want pizza to go, this is a good option I love Round Table Pizza.

Normally I go to the one in encinitas and I came to this one for the first time. There was only 1 employee. Male older caucasian guy and he was rude. I dont recommend to go there. Uninvited feeling and bad customer service. He took my order and went straight to make the pizza without washing his hands.

Personally, I appreciate the owner working so hard and giving his best! This “pandemic” has ruined so many small businesses and he’s determined to carry on, on his own! Round Table has always been my favorite pizza, and I will continue to frequent THIS location… As he makes it hot, fast and tasty, with quality ingredients Plenty of parking, salad bar not open…

After some 40 yrs of going to this location. I arrived little over 15 minutes before it was scheduled to be picked up and it was already sitting on the top of his oven. Good thing I was early or my $23 pizza would have been sitting out for at least 15 minutes. The box was warm at best and 1st bite of pizza was only room temperature. I think I know what happened, not acceptable. Moving on!

Picked up pizza today and thought the place was deserted at first. It was noon and no one in side, lights were off or at least really dim. The man behind the counter was either in a real bad mood or just not at friendly person. Got a cheese pizza, gourmet veggie and some garlic twists for take out. Got home to find that some of the toppings were missing. There was no spinach or onion or garlic and the “garlic” twists were hard as a rock, had barley any cheese and zero garlic. Tried to call the store to get it remade or something and was put on hold forever and then hung up on. Was blown away at paying 50$ for 2 med pizzas and 6 twists and will definitely not be going back. Guess I know why the place was empty at lunch time. Its a shame. We used to love Roundtable. Even drive almost 20 minutes to get it because we dont have one in IB. We will stick with Luigis from now on.
