The best Italian food around. This is my second review of this amazing restaurant. My wife and I still eat at Rossini Italian Restaurant, 4 or 5 times a week. The menu is full of traditional Italian dishes. And they are all worth trying. But it’s the specials that will bring you back again and again. They just seem to show up on the chalk board. It sets just inside the front door. In the last couple months. We’ve had Steaks, Pork Shoulder, Rice Pilaf and more. I even had a menu item that i have not eaten in 30 years… Disco Fries. My wife loves the small Caesar salad with Salmon. My favorite, is the grilled Chicken fillets. Blackened, with fettuccine noodles. All with a lite lemon sauce. Jim is the owner and chief. He takes pride in ever dish he prepares. Even the deep fried 4 cheese raviolis. My favorite, almost ever day for lunch. Here are a few photos of some of the best food around. Treat yourself…. I’ve frequented Rossini’s for decades. In fact it might be one of 5 phone numbers I know off the top of my head. The quality has just become too inconsistent of late. You have to ask for a well done pie and there’s still a decent chance it comes back doughy. I miss what it used to be but you could certainly do worse.

Pizza pretty good but we ordered meatball and got sausage instead.unwilling to reorder and wait again ,we just ate it..it was fine.not what we ordered, but fine. The water tasted terrible and I would recommend ordering a soft drink or bottled water if they have it..the water is really undrinkable.the bathroom was inadequate for the size of this restaurant. Only one and the wait during our visit was ridiculous. I kept walking back and forth to try to use it and it took almost 20 minutes to find it unoccupied. I have MS and the walk back and forth was excruciating. We only had pizza so I don’t know about their other menu items. It was fine but given the other issues I wouldn’t rush back.

This place is one of the best pizza around. I drive from southington down here on Friday nights. The pizza is cooked perfect I prefer the uncooked bacon pizza and my wife says they have the best meatballs she has ever had

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and a pepperoni pizza. The pizza was pretty good, decent flavor, but I would have preferred some crisp on the bottom. The meatballs didn’t have much flavor and were mushy in the middle. If I average the pizza and the meatballs on a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 7.4.

Rossini’s is a Cheshire local favorite; local reviews and ratings have further cemented its popularity. Good Italian food and a great atmosphere. That being said, during peak hours, you become fully aware they’ve overgrown their physical location. Rightly deserved, and congrats Rossini’s! This however has increased wait times for tables in house as well as wait times for ordering pick up or delivery. My opinion since high praise and increased custimer volume over recent years the quality(flavor) has lessened and the price/cost has increased which is why overall rating 3 instead of 4. Rossini’s please update/upgrade you phone lines it’s 2023 and one of the very few places that you’ll get an old school busy signal lol or ring until the call is just dropped! Trust me if your not seeing the loss of business from this issue I’m telling you you’re losing business or orders on a daily for this should be easy fix!

Ordered avocado and beet salad. Supposed to come with honey-citrus vinaigrette. Turned out to be the oiliest salad in my life. Felt greasy and sick, can not finish all. From the rest 1/4 greens, I squeezed out 2 tablespoons of oil! Finally decide to get attention from the waitress. Kitchen says that’s the way it is.

Ordered garlic bread with cheese, pizza Rossini’s special and white pizza half eggplant and half pineape and ham. The Rossini’s special was excellent, the garlic bread was soft and gooey, the white pizza was ok. The white pizza could have used a little more flavor.
