Hands down the best macaroni salad I have ever eaten. I ordered a combo plate with Mahi, Ribeye steak, and grilled chicken, and it included white rice and Mac salad. The ribeye had teriyaki sauce (not a big fan of teriyaki) and was sliced thin. The portion of chicken was large and tasty. The Mahi was my least favorite because it tasted like something other than Mahi. But the macaroni salad was simply the best. Kudos for good service as it was quite busy at lunch. Recommended!!

Not a bad Hawaii spot and is a mix of sit down and quick service. I ordered the pork which came with rice and macaroni salad. The pork was good for how quick it was and overall a decent place.

First time with my other half and was pretty shocked at the prices and quality of food. I got the chicken teriyaki bowl and my other half got the Kalua pork cabbage with side egg. Pretty yummy for a quick lunch!

I’ve been coming here for years and this place has the best Hawaiian food in Vegas hands down. Everything is really delicious but I recommend the spicy Korean chicken, and make sure you grab cookies on your way out!

One of my closest friends is originally from Hawaii and comes to visit the 9th Island pretty frequently. When we first moved here, he came for a visit and took me to eat at Aloha Specialties, which he said was his favorite Hawaiian restaurant anywhere. Most of my previous Hawaiian food experience had centered around L&L Hawaiian, which is gross. We went and ate there and I loved it. I wanted to eat there all the time but it’s a hassle to get down to Fremont and find parking with all of the perpetual construction there. they were also frequently out of food I wanted because they are popular and people eat there a lot. I drove all the way down there a couple of times only to be turned away, which is frustrating.

Ono Hawaiian food, my hamburger katsu is always on point. Great gravy. My wife ordered Korean chicken and beef tomatoe combo plate. She had no tomatoes in her beef tomatoe, not sure what happened, still tasted good though. Beef stew plate was great and the mini hamburger steak was tasty (would have loved a little more onions). I love their mac salad!

This place was a hot spot 20 years ago I came here when I went to beauty school across the street. Came in a week ago and the food didn’t taste good. The rice was soggy. The chicken over cook. The Spam masubi wasn’t the same. I won’t go back. Sorry ladies and gents.

Whenever I think about Ross J’s, I think about being back home in Hawai’i. If you’ve ever been to a mom and pops shop in Hawai’i, this is the kind of food and flavors you’d find. My absolute favorite day to dine in is on Friday’s! Their Hawaiian plate is honestly the best I’ve had in Las Vegas. Their Lau Lau is phenomenal.

I’ve passed by this place many times but today I decided to stop by and now I have a goto spot for great Hawaiian food. First impression: this is a real Hawaiian restaurant like you’d find on Kona or on a trek to NorthShore on Kamehameha. I’ll get to the food in a minute but this place ooozes “Ohana” (family). Everyone who came in seemed to be a long time customer and the connections were beyond customer and business owner. I LOVE PLACES LIKE THIS!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
