Nice humble place were most locals attend. Reasonable, great service , clean and tasty . I always have this hamburger because it’s tasty and not greasy . You can always substitute the fries. Yes , the fries are not wing stop fries or have Parmesan with garlic salt . Again very humble place with nice friendly people. Sometimes you have to go to places like this to make you realize they are truly nice people out there.

No one greets you or ask you about your meal. Watch out they will try to over charge you. No chips or salsa unless you pay. Tables not clean. Food is kinda good. Server runs off before you finish making your order. They talk about tips and bad tippers in front of you, not very professional.

Great friendly service. I ordered the chicken fried steak with fries and a side salad. The chicken fried steak literally took up the entire plate. It was a hand-breaded, deep fried steak, with home style fries, country gravy and Texas toast and a side salad. Great tasting food and very large portions. I definitely recommend this plate and place in Carrizo Springs, TX. Happy eating.

Food was subpar and lil bit pricey , you have to pay for chips and salsa ! My rice was crunchy. Beans were good though , food hardly had spices. I would not go back. And service is horrible, even when it’s not busy !

The food is overpriced, and the portions are small. The restaurant has a lot of wasted space and be ready to sit at a table with strangers. Parking is bad too. You’d be better off at literally any other eatery. I ordered the Carne Guisada plate. Cost $13 with one ladle of burnt guisada, one serving spoon of rice and beans two tortillas, no side salad, or chips and salsa and chips cost an extra $3 making the meal $16 for one person. I regularly find Mexican restaurants with the same meal, with chips, salsa and a side salad for $10, with easily double portion size. I will never eat here again and I’ll never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Edit; next day update: I have food poisoning from this location.

The place is filty all the time. Table are dirty & sticky, salt & pepper shaker dirty . Saw a lady just wipe the table, she just moved the food crumbs side to side. Takes forever to get your food and then it is cold. Do they have an inspector in this town.
