First time in today, I wanted some kind of homemade tacos with cooked onions and peppers, and remembered this place from Next Door a while back, so I drove there hoping it was still open and it was! I ordered the fajita combo meal, came with a mix of both beef and chicken fajitas, corn or flour tortillas, rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, corn chips and hot sauce. It was $27.99 for it all. I also got some homemade flour tortillas, Mexican bread, a slice of chocolate tres leches cake, and a watermelon drink. As I got home, and was about to serve, there were no tortillas, they forgot to put them in the bag, I had ordered the corn because the juices make the flour tortillas too doughy. I called and talked to Jose (I believe he was the owner) and told him I was going back, which was 107 degrees outside, I was kind of upset about heading back out. When I got there, they remade the whole order. I had taken the meats back to get fresh hot meat, and they had it all ready. I had taken my son to see if he wanted to try anything, because he loves barbacoa burritos from Latino’s Bakery off of Jupiter, and ordered one from here. Jose gave it to us, no charge. I will go back, everything we got was really good, the only thing I probably won’t get is the tres leche cakes, as it was dry and didn’t have that chocolate taste I was craving. This place made up for their mistake, and for that, we will frequent it and try everything on the menu, a week at a time. Menudo is next for my family on the weekend.

I didn’t like it. The food and coffee is far, far overpriced for the portion and quality. They would be making a substantial profit on each plate sold due to how very cheap the ingredients used in the preparation. Also it doesn’t take much insight to noticed they throw on the charm to a maximum for the sake of distracting you from being overcharged.

Best Mexican diner I’ve been to in Garland. Tortillas (corn and flour) are made at the location which is a huge plus for me! Favorable and delicious food! I recommend the menudo and barbacoa dish on the weekends. Exceptional customer service at the location (bilingual). Very attentive and friendly weather it’s dine in or take out. Very affordable! Recommend this location hands down!

Food was amazing. We had two pieces of pan dulce while we waited and it was truly authentic. Our waiter was very nice, patient and very humble. Prices were very fair for the amount of food we got. We will definitely come back again.

First time here and it was amazing. Super friendly staff. My wife had the chilaquiles with green sauce and I had the brisket burrito and strawberry crepes. Everything was so good. Definitely coming back.

After Sunday service, our family looks for a place to enjoy breaking bread with an authentic Mexican flavor in North Texas. Recently another Mexican restaurant came into operation and it’s very good with a true Mexican flavor. First, the restaurant is small and parking is an issue. As you enter, stay to the right entrance door to eat. The left will take you to where they bake tortillas and pan. The restrooms are located in the back by the kitchen. You are given a paper menu and you order at the counter where you’ll pay for your meal. The menu is not vast yet it includes many Mexican items not found regularly in North Texas like liquados, fruit salads and sweet bread. On the day we went, I had menudo, Aaron had French toast, Mathew had tacos and mom had omelet while Cashew had fruit and bread. The dinning room is small and it is hard to fit big parties yet the food is spot on. The menudo did not have the corn but the soup part was flavourful. The portion of the tacos and the omelet was good. We had some mess ups with the order but the servers made up for it. The price with tip was close to $50 and very good. This is the 2nd best Mexican restaurant in the North Dallas area. If you want to know #1, check out my recent review.

First time and definitely enjoyed it. Tried the beef guiso, not what I expected but good nonetheless. Was very surprised that after 5 pm on a Sunday they still had menudo, which was good. Not too fatty/greasy and unlike so many others does have hominy. Look forward to coming back and trying breakfast and some tortillas.

Brand new authentic Mexican restaurant with plenty of other goodies. The tortilla soup had a great flavor with plenty of meat. Pork tamales were on point but the real surprise was the fresh cakes filled with strawberry or vanilla pudding. Also, batches of fresh corn or flour tortillas are available to go. Along with speciality ice cream, popsicles, and coffee, Rosis Cafe is a must go to restaurant, cafe, bakery, and dessert destination.

This cozy family run restaurant popped up in the place of an old dry cleaner and honestly it’s about time something this authentic popped up in this area of garland. They have menudo (on weekends) and delicious fresh flour and corn tortillas. I had the guiso ribs in salsa verde. They were tasty though a bit on the salty side. Their bell pepper guiso was amazing I’d recommend it. The owner is very welcoming and loves making suggestions and all the staff are super attentive.
