The Local Guide
Small little Cafe, stopped in for breakfast and had blueberry Pancakes and sausage. The looks of the Pancakes were not pleasing to the eye. It looks as if they stuck on the grill. The sausage were big links. Everything tasted good lots of blueberries. The Pancakes were on the thin side not fluffy as I would like. The staff were nice not overly friendly but to the point nice. The prices weren’t bad $7.50 for blueberry Pancakes and $2 for the sausage.

Fresh grilled chicken breast for the chicken Caesar salad with plenty of Parmesan cheese. Great decor and friendly service.

Have been looking for a local, casual, hearty breakfast place to replace a favorite that closed. Found it!! Food was delicious and servings generous. Good coffee a plus. Attentive and friendly wait staff (thanks Victoria!). Owner Kevin stopped by to chat. He was wonderful. He sold me on the jambalaya which I’ll be back to try, along with the music.

Quite possibly the most authentic food. The salmon is fantastic, cooked to perfection, their shrimp are huge just like their mussels. The owner is warm, kind and provides A+ hospitality to all guests. Head on over to see what I’m talking about.

Bring a bottle of wine. Enjoy the firehouse jambalaya or some boubon chicken then sit back and really enjoy the music. A great weekend date

I am SOOOOOOO glad I found this fabulous place. Food was delicious! Service was excellent! And I judge a restaurant on how fresh their tea is and mine was so fresh it was warm and needed 2 cups of ice. Owner Kevin was a sweetheart. Offered to make me jambalaya without meat (I only eat fish). I will be taking him up on this offer soon. My only complaint is the seating. Very very cramped. They need to take about 5 tables out to make it more comfortable. But I will DEFINITELY be back.

Rosetta’s Jazz Cafe is just what we need in the area. The restaurant is clean, welcoming and the food is really good. We had the mussels, caesar salad, fried whiting, fried shrimp and lemon cake. We stopped in for a quick lunch bite and so glad we did. The owner, Kevin is great. The atmosphere was soothing with jazz music in the background. This is definitely a great place with great food and great jazz!!!
