Rose’s Kitchen is one of the best restaurants in Austin, TX. We have a wide variety of cuisines that are all scratch, fresh, and delicious. Families often come in to eat. Mom wants some very authentic and delicious Thai food, and she happens to be vegan. She is looking for something other than a salad or some sides to fill her up. She can get one of our featured vegan specials. Maybe some tom kha or our spicy green curry with tofu. Dad is hungry for whatever special we felt like cooking that day. Awesome family owned food truck right off 1626/ Twin Creek. Wife (chef) is from Thailand and makes the dishes delicious and light. No heavy sauces, just good ingredients. The building on the property is accessible and has AC with tables, it’s a chill atmosphere with a stage for live entertainment. BBQ is made by a local pit master (guy from Moontower if I’m not mistaken). Will be back, can’t wait to see them this Fall!!

First time here. Finally as we heard nothing but great things about it. It’s currently transitioning to a new location, and once finished it will be an awesome place not just for food. There will be live music and also larger group meeting rooms. The owner gave us a great tour of the facilities that will soon be open. The food (Pad Kee Mao and Green Curry) was spectacular and cannot wait to go back to try other items on the menu. Even though it’s a quite a drive for us.

The place is hidden but they have a big sign that tells you exactly where to go. As a vegetarian, I was very happy to see several options. I tried veggie dumplings and noodles. It was delicious and will definitely go back .

The small Thai restaurant is in the gas station. We ordered a pad Thai, Tom yum soup, green papaya salad and thai ice tea. The food was not too sweet, we were glad we found a yummy place on our trip in Austin.

We liked all the dishes we ordered: Pad Thai, green curry and drunken noodles. The flavor is right on, not too spicy but not bland either. I learned that some of the best food you can find is located in unexpected places, and Rose’s Thai is one of them.

Really cool unique dining experience. The kitchen is in a good truck in the backyard of a house that currently also serves as a dining area in addition to several outdoor picnic benches. Wasn’t the best chicken satay I’ve ever had but was very good and came with two excellent sauces. Red curry was perfect! We got it as hot as they offered it, it was a decent amount of heat, but you like really hot food you might still find it kind of mild. Would definitely come back.

Best Thai food I’ve had in my life, tastes like a fancy restaurant meal from a food truck. Tastes authentic and relatively healthy, way better alternative to Chinese takeout for comparable price and portions while scratching same itch. They’re in phase 1 of remodeling a house that will eventually hold many foodie experiences. I had the Pad Thai! Even though they’re not quite set up for large groups yet, our server was hard at work going back and forth to the trailer while also helping others with their to go orders.
