We were looking for a lunch place with a patio and this was a good place. The young lady at the bar who took our order was working by herself after ordering we sat outside enjoying the sunshine and a cold beer. She did a great job running around with our food and drinks. The food is freshly made and better than most drinking establishments. What topped it off was a delicious brownie cake and ice cream. The only issue is parking but it is worth it.

I have passed this place 100’s of times over the years and finally decided to drop in for Lunch. According to the sign this place has been here for 37yrs and it was confirmed by the owner inside. Location is a little tricky and it’s easy to pass as you notice but the property was quite inviting when you get to the front. I parked in the front and am assuming there is plenty of parking in the back because it certainly isn’t in the front. Overall including the outside this place can hold quite a few patrons. I sat down as the only customer at the time and ordered the double bacon cheeseburger and a side of spicy waffle fries. It didn’t take long for the food to come out and the food was good. The burger was prepared well and was a good size and although the fries tasted good I didn’t taste any seasoning. If you are looking for a culinary experience this place is definitely not the place but it is good solid food and at a great value. As you can see from the photos attached there is a great property both in and out with many things to do and at the end of the day looks to be a great bar with good food!

Great small town vibe, and a menu of deep fried bliss. Go hungry leave happy. If it’s nice you’ll get to experience a competitive Cornhole tournament with live music. The staff never let your drink be empty for long and always serve with a smile and a bit of southern charm…

Pretty solid food and really nice environment. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger which was tasty. The burgers are hand pressed daily. My girlfriend ordered a BLT which she said was amazing. Beers were $2 and ice cold. Cool spot to stop at and servers were super nice.

Place can be a little intimidating when first getting there, but don’t be fooled. The food is incredible. I am in Lexington a few times a year and I never miss heading over to Rose and Jim’s for some burgers
