Once a music shop, this historic home has been transformed into a smokehouse heaven. The owners have spent the past two years transforming this space to Roscoe’s own cozy, canal barbeque store.
At Roscoe Barbeque Company, we feel incredibly lucky that we get to do what we love. We strive to produce the most consistent Texas style smoked meats as possible and scratch made sides. Barbecue takes time, dedication, and the constant pursuit of perfection. It takes us a long time to cook our food and we hope you can taste our patience.
Seating and food is first come, first serve. We do not take reservations. Ordering and service is at the front counter.

I ordered brisket, Mexican street corn, Mac & cheese and banana pudding. The corn was amazing. The Mac was just ok. Nothing fabulous. The rest of the food was tasty. It was pretty busy when I was there but I received my food quickly. Sat outside to eat. It was a beautiful day for it.

The best BBQ we’ve had since moving from the south to Ohio. Charming atmosphere with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Food was delicious, especially the baked beans – true homemade style with bits of onions and pork fat. Good prices and the owners were so friendly. We will definitely be back!

The atmosphere is very comforting. Pictures of the heritage everywhere. Friendly staff. The food is phenomenal I had the chicken legs perfect seasoning with baked beans. I’ll definitely be back for those. Finished it off with some Texas sheet cake. Over all 10 out of 10.

good lord, this place was amazing! my whole group had different things and everything was so good. we ate there on 8/18/23 in the evening and the guy at the counter was so nice!! my friends were getting married the next day and he gave them a really good slice of chocolate cake!

Absolutely fantastic! Was in the area from out of town, took a wrong turn and saw this place, so we decided to stop. So glad we did!!! Brisket was sold out so I had the pulled pork & smoked sausage. Very, very good. I’ve found that sausage @ BBQ places can be dried out and shriveled up…not the case at all here! Excellent flavor, excellent sauce & I’m not typically a sauce person. Will definitely return!

Very friendly upbeat place to have dinner with friends or family. The food was great, prices were average and the staff was super friendly. There is plenty of outdoor seating on the porch or in the yard for nice days. It is also a very dog friendly place. It was a great experience, and I’d be happy to come back and eat here again. Highly recommended!
