My first time at Ronin’s and I really feel the service was not up to par. My cousins wife is pregnant and had dietary restrictions and the waitress kept pushing her to eat something she couldn’t. And the soft drink she ordered wasn’t given until our meal was nearly done. The food was pretty good. I have to say Ronin’s is on my list of ramen places I like here in Illinois. The ambiance made me think of the time when I had ramen in Japan many years ago. Over all I would say, the service really was sour in my opinion.

Love the food! The sukiyaki beef rice bowl is a must try. Indoor decoration is also gorgeous and owner keeps a lot of nice plants.

My expectations were a lot lower because i never knew this place existed. This place definitely rocked me today. I’m already planning on coming back with my friends soon. Grant it I only tried 2 main dishes, 2 appetizers and hot tea and 2 of us was under $40.

We dropped in with a family of 7 without reservations. The waitress was incredibly nice and accommodating. This is the best ramen I’ve had in the US.

Really good and authentic. The chasu was cooked so good that melted in my mouth, great flavor broth and the poached egg was delicious

I drove an hour out to try their food for lunch. When I got there, it was closed. Their google hours showed it was open and their front sign showed that it should have been opened. When I called, a worker or owner answered and told me they were closed for kitchen cleaning. When I asked how long it would be until they opened, they just rudely hung up on me. I called back a second time and specifically asked how long it would be and they told me an hour. I decided to leave and ate at a different location.

The food here is great. I love thé Chashu pork rice bowl as well as their tonkatsu ramen. Their chili oil is also my favorite seasoning for my dishes.

The quality and quantity of the food is both generous and delicious. The interior is small and cozy, but it’s nicely decorated with Asian themes. Utensils are surprisingly good too.

Everything they said about the lady (or the owner) is true. She’s quite rude. You can’t ask her for anything and not to expect much from her. It’s best you come just to eat and leave. It’s too bad because the ramens are tasty.
