This used to be one of my regular pizza places. In general the pizza is very good (great ranch and potato is so unique and delicious, and their Capone sauce is so good). However I’ve noticed in the last 4-5 years the quality has slowly been going down. That, and the fact that the last 4 times I’ve ordered here, something has been wrong with the order (missing toppings, forgotten items, etc).

Don’t even think of ordering anything from these pizza parlors!!!! We’re traveling and staying at a hotel 1.1 miles away from where we ordered our dinner, being told it would be 45 minutes. After an hour and thirty-five minutes, our order was finally delivered to our room. Our first irritating experience was ordering from their online menu. Our first choices were not on the menu anymore! Once I deciphered what was available, we ordered one pizza, one calzone, a salad, and a 20oz. drink. The total was over $40.00.

I really want to like this place, but they keep making it hard. Usually the pizza tastes great, but as seen in the attached picture, they actually delivered a pizza that should have never been boxed up. I thought they were making some improvements, but it appears they need a full staff refresh. Between orders missing items, the burned pizza, and generally being understaffed and late, it makes it hard to order from them. Multiple times now I’ve placed orders for pickup and it gave an estimated ready time of around 30 minutes. When I arrived the place was in absolute chaos. The people working the front counter avoided eye contact and were focused on answering the phones and packing delivery orders and wouldn’t acknowledge the people waiting. Orders were coming out 30 minutes or longer after the original estimated ready times. Customers were canceling both delivery and pickup orders due to the long delays. Even after already being late, my order sat on the shelf for another 15 minutes because they didn’t have the resources to even look at what was on the shelf and call out the names for what was ready. We’ve had the same problem with delivery, where the orders showed up very late and cold.

Seth at the Lewis Center is a great employee at Romeos. My husband botched my order and Seth corrected it for us! It was totally our fault. He makes the company better than it already is. And in addition to that his general manager at this location must be amazing with great hiring skills.

Ordered two calzones. I’ve ordered the same two calzones a few times before from this location and the calzones were fine. Today, the calzones had RAW dough. When I called in to bring it to the Managers attention his immediate response was to tell me how the dough is suppose to be like that because I didn’t order the garlic sauce and it just “looks” raw.

I’m not a huge red sauce fan, I often get light or different sauces but Romeo’s red sauce is absolutely delicious. I love the sweeter taste and actually seek out sauce here like with the Italiano deep dish, amazing pizza. Consistency is better than any of the other pizza places around. Staff is good, no complaints and in the past when GrubHub would screw up my order Romeo’s staff would always make it right with no argument. I’ve since started calling the store directly which is cheaper and staff is pleasant and accurate.
