A perfect pop-in pasta spot for date night. Grapefruit Paloma + Pappardelle Boscaiola & (not pictured) Rigatoni Giulietta we’re all delicious. I’m particular about my pasta and their house-made noodles were AMAZING. Our server was very helpful when I was stuck between two options on the menu and kept our table very well.

We came for an early Valentine’s dinner on super bowl Sunday. It’s a beautiful restaurant and was decorated for Valentine’s Day. It was uncrowded which was great. Our waiter was attentive and fast and the man assisting him with refilling drinks was SO pleasant and upbeat. It made the meal that much better. We ordered the mixed calamari which was good and that was the first time we had calamari with salmon nuggets. For our main course we had the pizza la Bianca which is a white pizza with mushrooms, truffle oil, mozzarella, and ricotta, It was unique and that brick oven pizza crust was SO GOOD! We ate every bite. For dessert we had the panna cotta with a raspberry coulis and we weren’t a huge fan of that. The raspberry sauce was very good. The consistency of the panna cotta was too much like ricotta cheese instead of simply heavy cream and gelatin like we have had in the past.

My wife and I were in Laguna Beach celebrating our 10 wedding anniversary and on Friday night we decided to to Romeo Cucina. First the foremost the service was amazing. The gentleman that was helping us and the trainees that was working with him were both just amazing. By far the best service we got all week in Laguna from any restaurant. That being said the food my wife and I order was also very good. The fettuccine & meatball were to die for and the Salmon my wife had was delicious! We can’t wait to go back.

Ate here today was super excited to try a new place, as we come to laguna a lot. The servers would not serve us a busser came by and helped us. The food is horrible. The pasta didn’t have the meat promised in it and we still paid full price. Portions are small. And the food for all was not good. Everyone in our party thought their plates were horrible. Everyone had something different. One said olive garden or frozen food is better than this place. I’ve had better food in a can. Save your time and money. Don’t bother coming here.

Food was good, but not especially memorable. Service was done with a smile, but the waiter was a bit of a scatter brain. Forgot to deliver drinks that I could see sitting on the bar waiting for us. Bringing all the meals except forgetting one kid’s meal which we waited several minutes for. For some other table he was serving at one point he was holding their dishes to deliver but spent several minutes chatting with another server in what appeared to be just social interaction. For an upscale restaurant, service should have been better
