Food is good here, location is very clean. Not a whole lot of parking, and getting to location can be a bit of a pain. Staff were great, no complaints, slight difficulty talking to cashier, but was favorite part of location. Food prepared immediately, like done in less than 3 minutes. Only had a burrito, mild salsa was good. Definitely going to come back here eventually. Didn’t see if had restrooms. In all, good food at an expected price.

superb Mexican cuisine. Both cheap and delicious. There are numerous options and refrigerators from which you can choose your cold bottled beverages. Highly recommended!

Perhaps to better describe its excellent carne deshebrada to Orange County, “Roman’s Mexican Restaurant and Taqueria” has followed Chipotle in naming it “beef barbacoa,” even though barbacoa in Spanish translates to barbecue and, in Mexico, barbacoa traditionally refers to pit-roasted meats.

I lived in Costa Mesa for most of my life. This place has one of the best Torta Cubanas I’ve had in OC. Mixed with their fresh avocado salsa verde! PERFRCTO! (It is spicy for people who cant take spice. Lol)

Went to grab something to eat after reading some reviews. I ordered carne azada nachos supreme. Nothing to brag about except for the salsa that was good. Facility was clean and empty with no customers. Person at the counter was nice but not very talkative. I thing it was overly price. Definitively not coming back.

I have been going to Romans for many years. They used to have an amazing salsa bar but stopped putting the salsa out a few years ago which was very disappointing. Now they charge you a dollar extra per little small round container! you’re only allowed two small round salsa containers per burrito and their prices went way up they charged me $16 for a chorizo and bacon Mexican style breakfast burrito. The owner said it was because of high prices but to be honest that is ridiculous and how much does it really cost to make salsa or to add hash browns or a piece of bacon to the burrito. By the way I got charged that price and didn’t even get a Mexican style burrito! They now charge $12.99 for a Mexican style burrito without all the bells and whistles like potatoes etc. and add 4% to your bill total. Super disappointed, I paid $45 for three breakfast burritos. I personally think it’s greed and they’re using inflation as an excuse. My family and I will never go back and I will tell all my friends about my experience

Worst food ever, not worth your money. Place is unsanitary, meat was not good and was unable to tell what meat it was. The Guacamole was rotten and over priced for the amount given also. Service is bad. Please be careful what your eating out there. Just thought I’d give this place a chance. Never again.

Chile relleno burrito was super tasty and filling. Hot salsa had a good flavor. Homestyle places of this caliber are scarce in this part of OC. Definitely coming back.
