Nice place for a night out. We began with a Paper Plane and Mai Tai both of which were delicious. Then had the Brussels sprouts and creole shrimp appetizers both of which we would order again. The tips and frites were delicious and cooked just right before a coconut cream pie for dessert.

It used to be awesome, pre-pandemic. Tonight it was underwhelming in every aspect. Not a bad restaurant, but it has certainly taken a turn for the worse. The food was good, the cocktail was not good, the service was meh. The music was too loud and not pleasant at all. It used to be out favorite. Sad to see the decline.

To start the crab cakes had onion/scallions in the mixture which over powered everything not to mention it seems it was majority filling then crab meat itself. The jambalaya had a distinct taste/flavor. The chicken wasn’t very good in it. Overall for the price I would have excepted it to be a home run but it’s was far from.

Food was cold and took like 40 min to arrive (steak tips). Menu is very limited and stafs is polite, not friendly. Check was left and never picked up, we managed to get another waiter to charge us after a while so we could leave.

This place is really cool with great food. I recommend the brick chicken or the shepherd’s pie (it is made with lamb). Everything looks good there. The service was amazing and the waitresses recommendations were spot on. I would recommend trying them out . We had some shrimp appetizer that the sauce was to die for.

Love this neighborhood spot! Staff is great food is usually on point. Drinks are good and strong obit I wish they would get a little more creative and have some more adventurous creations, that’s what has become very popular in the industry and I know Romains is more than capable of keeping on track without discouraging the old school regulars from still going regularly. Now that Civic in Westboro is closed I bet Romains will be even busier so make a reservation and it will be worth it!
