This was definitely not autentica comida mexicana by any stretch. First, the place was noisy and crowded with other people standing in line to order. We ordered our food and waited and waited. After waiting over 15 minutes the cashier motioned to me to pick up our tray of food. The food looked great but the taste was disappointing. I ordered the carnitas combination plate with a side of rice and beans. Like most other fast food Mexican taquerias, there just wasn’t enough fresh vegetables such as cabbage and tomatoes to overcome the heaviness of the refried beans and meat. The carnitas tasted dry, bland and chewy. I smothered it with salsa from the salsa bar but even that didn’t help much.

Rolberto’s has always been a favorite food spot of mine. From the big city to a small town and so forth I’ve enjoyed the cultural aspect of the food the diner it’s self and the people that serve up the great food. Affordable to top off the most you can get with two large burritos for burrito lovers is under 16 dollars.

Found a peice of metal in my birria tacos. The tacos themselves were not bad, but I prefer them without metal. Update: I found another peice of metal. This food is a health hazard.

Not very good. Ok for fast Mexican food I guess. I think I would of liked it better than the other fast food places in the area. Really don’t like that they use styrofoam for everything, including dine-in.

Best part they are open 24 hours!!! fresh and fast 25 bucks will get you a burrito and a big shrimp cocktail. Plus a Cain sugar coke.

Disgusting, rude staff, styrofoam. I told her it was not edible and she asked me if I wanted a to go box. Um,NO, I’m bringing it up to tell you, it was gross. Thy have precooked everything, but when they fried it, the tortilla was doughy. She didn’t even try to make it right. This the the scroreboard location

Usually food is pretty good waited over 45 minutes for one thing people that came in behind me were already done eating by the time I got my food, Guy that was in front of me was there over an hour and still had not received his food.

The last time we came here it was so dirty, floors, tables, everything and we ended up leaving. Thought we would try again this morning. Still filthy. The woman at the counter acted as if we were bothering her by ordering.

Don’t get me wrong, the food is AMAZING here but just depends what you get… I go here once in a while because I always get food poisoning or I just get nauseous and have the bathroom runs, so I personally I would not recommend this place unless you want to feel nauseous and need to go to the bathroom every second… literally.

Everyone just stares at you when you walk in, the prices are horrible, and the bigger lady that runs the register is super rude and unhelpful if you’re a first-timer at their establishment. A horrible place to eat there if you are traveling through Elko.
