This place rules. If you want a classic diner atmosphere and great food, this is your place. Chicken fried steak, burgers, grilled cheese, banana splits, tater tots, malt shakes. They also randomly have Mexican food as well! I got the nachos with guacamole and they were actually really good! I wouldn’t normally expect good Mexican food from a classic American looking diner but hey – it was an awesome surprise!

I’ve been passing this place for years. I was in the mood for a vanilla malt and decided to stop. I am glad I did. The malt was delicious. Not many places around that make a good one. I liked the feel of the place. I am going to stop and try their food next time with a malt for dessert of course.

Well if your from Dickinson you should be familiar with Roger’s Malt Shop. They served up the classic burger and malt combo’s or if you just wanted a ice cream cone or two scoop of ice cream in a cup you could have it done. Well sorry to say those days are long gone. The young lady who took our order seamed to be in a bad mood or maybe having a bad day. I sure she’s not always like that, today she was. I had the bacon cheeseburger and tots. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. The tots could have been fried a lil bit longer and the drink was extremely flat. The steak fingers were good and so was the Texas toast, but the gravy wasn’t what I expected. All and all I give it a couple of stars because of the memories I have when my wife and I would go there when we first started dating.

Great fresh made food. Went for breakfast and they did not disappoint. Tried the barbacoa burrito, and the hubs had the chorizo omlette. They were both excellent. Highly recommended.

The ice cream and shakes here are good. But I just had a burger that I couldn’t finish because part of it was wet. I have never been served a wet burger, part of the bun was just a wet mushy mess. Only god and the cook know how my burger got made, then soaked, wrapped in foil, and given to me to eat. The place was empty at 7pm and now I know why.

Good food, good price, has a nice atmosphere with a mom-and-pop type vibe. Good selection of Blue Bell ice cream. Will go back.
