This is a cool, retro diner. They have an authentic milkshake machine that I remember way back in the 60’s.

Hamburg, onion rings and sweet potato fries were outstanding! But the buns were tough. I guess to old. Still love the atmosphere and food. Service was good also.

We have eaten here before and it’s good food but for a diner atmosphere and no breakfast menu 24/7 it’s a little sad. Most diners serve everything 24/7. Otherwise my Philly cheesesteak was very good.

Cute diner within the Tryon equestrian center. The service was okay. She was a younger girl and had a bit of an attitude. Menu was diverse and food was delicious!

First and last visit. Our table was dirty and we were completely ignored for the longest. Multiple waitress’ made eye contact with us and never acknowledged us. There was only 2 tables being used when we arrived. A party of six came in a few minutes after us and the waitress (with the fake eyelashes or extensions)that had looked down her nose at us multiple times almost ran to the table. Then after Their order had been taken and they had received their drinks,She looked at us and said “have y’all been helped?”SERIOUSLY. My husband has been there multiple time and said he has never been treated so poorly. We still tipped but my husband usually tips very well. So to the waitress who looked at us like we were not worthy to serve, your loss!

I was attending the horse show at the equestrian center and ate here a lot during my stay. Each time the food was great, the environment was friendly, and the milkshakes were delicious! I even got a free Sunday on my birthday. 🙂 Love me some Rogers!

The food was pretty good, I will say that. We went during the light show, and it was busy so we were seated outside. Okay, no problem. The waitress took our drink orders right away, very good. Then they forgot about us. As the patio cleared out, and 20 minutes went by with no waitress contact, my wife went in to ask about our food. Magically it shows up. My wife’s honey mustard chicken had no honey mustard. No waitress. I had to go inside to fix that. After that, zero contact again. Keep in mind we were the only ones left outside and business was slowing. I had to go inside again to ask to pay. Apparently this restaurant has short-term memory issues. The whole time we were seated, they had no less than five waitresses. Some would even stand in the doorway and look at us without saying anything.

Our 1st time there. Pleasantly surprised. The food was hot, served reasonably fast and the prices were very reasonable. Definitely will eat there again!

Old fashioned diner but at an equestrian event location. Fun twist!! Great hot dogs and milk shakes.
