I had never seen or heard of Rods but I gave it a shot. The young lady who took my order was very friendly and the food was good. I had fish, shrimp, and asada tacos.

I have lived near this place for years and never tried it. Was pleasantly surprised at the size of the the seating area. Nice and roomy. The food was good however I wish they had listed that the fish and shrimp tacos were not battered and fried. A little too fishy for my liking but still very flavorful. The asada quesadilla was amazing. All the tacos come without toppings so you can add as much or as little toppings you want.

We’ve ordered from here A bunch of times in the past and it has always been very good. They must have changed their cook because this is definitely not a “steak” enchilada! Makes me wonder if their carne asada tacos are shredded beef as well LOL. They also put carrots in their shredded beef taquitos. So apparently they make one batch of meat and put it in every one of their menu items. SMH.

We were very impressed when walked into Rods. It was very well decorated and very clean. It being family owned, I was comfortable walking in. And the young lady who took our order was very friendly and helpful.

This is, and I cannot stress this enough, the best taco place in Granada hills, in terms of price and quality. They have amazing tacos for a very affordable price, incredibly underrated place. There should be many more people here. WOULD give extra stars!!

Rod’s carne asada tacos are amazing with the red sauce and pico de gallo. I been to this location before this whole pandemic and I really enjoyed it. My girlfriend loves their shrimp tacos, I order one for myself but she ate it before I could try it. So fast forward to today, I decided to do a pick order. I got 6 shrimps taco and 2 carne asada taco. I was told it would be ready in 10 minutes so I left right away to go get it. There was barely anyone there and many parking spot. I checked in and my order was ready. The sad part was that there was no pico de gallo this time . But the carne asada taco was still good, I didn’t really like the shrimp taco.

I just stopped in for the first time today. Great old school Cal/Mex style walk up counter with lots of indoor seating. The place is very clean and the employee the served me was friendly and knowledgeable. I had super delicious enchiladas, the sauce has a great flavor and they were packed with cheese, YUM!

WOW! Came here yesterday and to start it off service was fantastic. I tried there shrimp and steak fajitas and it was amazing! Togo, I had carne asada fries and their wet burrito I believe and it was fantastic! Some restaurants are conservative with their guac but not here! Guac isn’t extra. I highly recommend this mexican joint if you’re around the area!

Really want to love this place, but it didn’t blow my mind. I gave 4 stars because the quesadilla and the taquitos were awesome. The beef tacos were plain and the beef burrito had a lot of bits of bone or some kind of cartilage. I will prpbably try again to taste their other types of dishes.

I finally found a good Mexican place in the valley! Delicious, marinated asada. Tender and juicy carnitas. One taco is $2.50 but with double tortilla it’s two and one because it’s so much meat and I love their fresh salsa bar with radish and lime, onion cilantro. Your tacos come naked and then you can dress them as you please.
