I’m a 52 year old man who has eaten a ton of burgers in my life but trust me I just had a bacon cheeseburger from here and it was the absolute best I’ve ever tasted ! I had to pass on the $59 steak but the $17 burger was definitely on point !!!

Food quality was very good. Service quality was the opposite, as if the staff was annoyed by having to come out to the tables. Staff bungled the order, failed to deliver in a timely manner, totally missed dessert.

Seemed like a nice place and was hoping for it to be. Walked over while waiting to check in and the guy told me they didn’t open till 4. I got that and asked if there was anywhere else in the hotel to get a beer and he said around the corner at the coffee/snack bar area and I said I saw a sign on door that they were closed and all he said well ” we don’t open till 4″. Anyways went back to wait in line for check in. Went to room and got changed and came back down around 430-5 and we felt like we were invisible. Finally got some drinks and when more friends joined they too had to wait for a bit. Then later when wanting to order food they said they couldn’t take orders because it was too busy. Ridiculous as we looked around. Even the guy next to us was shaking his head because all he got was french fries. I’m working on calling to find out why/how my bill was $100 and some change for me with just a few beers and no food.

So overpriced! Steak $75! A simple chicken dish was $40, and I’m going to New Orleans to a famous restaurant and their chicken dish is $30. But the fries were the best and the bartender was great. The chicken quesadilla was decent but nothing special.

I am giving the restaurant 1 star not because of the food . It was great . What was not great was being asked to pay for our meal on our wedding anniversary in advance. That has never happened in the years we have had meals at Rocky River Grille . After asking for to go boxes the other lady who seated us asked if I was ready for my bill so clearly the lady working Saturday with dark hair was being selective in who she asked to pay in advance. The couple sitting next to us with 2 small children she did not ask them to pay in advance. We asked them if she did . Maybe when management finally returns my call they can explain to this long time Hilton Rewards member why I had to pay in advance . If they dont , I will ask someone at the Hilton Corporate Office .

Food was good but severely understaffed. One bartender handling the bar and the food orders and one person bringing the food out from the kitchen. Only half way thru serving hours running out of items and guests becoming verbally aggressive over wait times. Entrees were way overpriced but the rest of the menu was reasonably priced and was good just be prepared to wait.

Great food and atmosphere but the bartender (yeah you with the glasses Mr Smart Alec) was very rude to my wife basically telling her to hurry up and order that he doesn’t have time for decisions to be made. You never say that to a customer. Shame on you sir.
