I didn’t realize it was a food truck in a parking lot but it was in a good location. There are picnic benches you can sit at although the road traffic is quite noisy. I ordered a large miso ramen with an add on, it was $22 total and I never got the add on. The food was flavorful but over salted, it was overpowering, and I like my food on the saltier side so for me to share this means it was truly too much. Miso itself is very salty so I think there’s a fine line between well seasoned and overdoing it. The tofu was especially salty. I love that the bowl had grilled zucchini. When I started eating and noticed the extra was not in the bowl I couldn’t say anything because the cook had left to walk his dog. When he got back I made him aware and he offered me to put some extra noodles, my leftover broth and the add on in a takeout container, which I unfortunately couldn’t accept because I was camping. We settled with two waters but I was slightly disappointed.

Excellent food, excellent service. Tonkatsu broth is just the right flavor, noodles were cooked without being soggy, and the pork was perfect. For service. I accidentally double ordered online. Within 2 minutes they texted to confirm if i had meant to order twice, and kindly canceled my extra order. Thank you for the great meal!

Rocky Mountain Ramen is a phenomenal place and a perfect example of a hole in the wall restaurant! While it’s a bit hard to notice at first, the experience makes up for it 100%. The owner allows for samples to get a feel for the flavors and let me just say: wonderful! 10/10 will come again and will be sure to say hi to the truck dog, Nakita! 🙂

The place has excellent food,I appreciate the attention to detail and the care taken in preparing each dish. IN addition to the food, Rocky Mountain Ramen also offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and take the time to ensure that each guest has an enjoyable experience. Delicious ramen!! I ordered a small vegan miso ramen and added mushrooms and an egg. The tofu and zucchini in it were grilled which was unique and yummy. The small was plenty for a meal. Extremely friendly service!

I’d never had miso and the man in the food truck gave me a sample and boy, was it amazing. Ordered the miso plus some sesame greens. Hubby had the pork and chicken broth with the pulled pork plus a poached egg. We didn’t get home for about an hour and the egg was still perfectly runny. Small portions would have done the trick but we were soooo glad we ordered the large so we could have it for dinner as well! Highly recommended!

Legitimately one of the best ramens I’ve ever had. So unique. Great flavors. Got the tantanmen and the vegan tantanmen. Feel like I might make the drive from Denver just to have this again. You won’t find ramen like this ever again. It’s like Texas BBQ meets ramen.
