We went here for my b day. The food was pretty good but our waitresses should not have been handling a large party of 16. I had the turkey dinner which was the special and was very good. But we got some other things that were cold and not on time. Also the billing was messed up in the end

Neat place, first time checking it out was admittedly back in February but the food was good. The menu is a bit daunting at first, but the atmosphere feels a tad more like a fine dining experience with some antiques history around you. The serving staff were super nice. Onion soup is served in a crock, smothered in cheese as well it should be. A bit pricey, so better save this one for a more formal date rather than a quick casual bite.

Really good scratch made food. French onion and spinach soups were excellent. Fish basket was good, the fry was a little dark and clams were slightly overcooked. Cole slaw was some of the best ever. Dessert was excellent, raspberry mango torte.

Fantastic meal. Jerk bone in pork chop with black beans and rice with andouille sausage(pictured). Came with soup so got the seafood chowder. Delicious as was my son’s French onion soup. Whole experience reminded me of The Back Porch, a tad pricey but you certainly receive a memorable meal in return. The server, Bethany, was also a pleasure. Would highly recommend.

This was my first time back in a while and it was a beautiful spot for my mom’s birthday dinner. A quality restaurant with great service right in our neighborhood!
