Staying in town for the night while traveling, I saw the reviews and I was so pleased with the food, service and atmosphere! I had the grilled chicken breast, it was the best I have ever had! Juicy and flavorful. We liked it so much we returned for breakfast before heading out of town. Another great experience and wonderful food, coffee and an excellent waitress! Don’t be fooled by the outside of the building. The inside is cute.

This place looks a little sketchy from the outside. Don’t be fooled, it’s a hidden gem. Came into town on a delivery. Great breakfast, perfect crispy bacon. Nice and clean on the inside. Great service. The portions are perfect for the price. You can probably park your truck on the lot next door, but I’m not 100% on that.

Nice little place. Service was good but don’t be in a hurry to eat . Had a cheeseburger and onion rings and I wasn’t impressed. Not good at all. McDonald’s or dairy queen is better. Seemed like the lunch special was the thing to get. All the locals ordered that and it looked good and was quicker then my burger. That’s what I’ll get if I ever go back. For this reason I only give it 1 star.

Only in town a few days. Seen the reviews and tried it out. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I had steak and shrimp. My steak was cooked to perfection. One of the best i have ever had. Had avmixed drink with my meal and it was perfect. Great food great drinks. This place is a hidden jewel of a restaurant in Comanche Tx. The only reason I couldn’t give 5 stars is because our waitress absolutely sucked. The other waitress seemed great and attentive to her tables. Ours couldn’t get a straw. Literally, I asked for a straw. She said no problem and never came back. The other waitress got me the straw. I had to go get my own silverware. My waitress was nowhere to be found. So if you choose to eat the great food at this place, be certain not to sit in the dark haired, bigger girls section and you will have a 5 star experience

Stopped for lunch in the middle of a long drive and was really surprised by the quality and value. I had a chicken fried steak, tea and two sides for $8 total. The chicken fried steak was tasty, tender and moist. The side salad was crisp and fresh. When I left I forgot my Kindle on the table and did not realize it until the next day. I gave them a call and they went to a good bit of trouble to mail it to me! I will definitely eat here anytime I am in Comanche at meal time.

We use to visit here several times a month and have for years. We Arrived at 725pm with the manager greeting us at the door Not sure I should call it a greeting. “We have been slammed” talking loud and walking very fast More or less telling us it would be 30 minutes before we got our food. I told him I was sorry they had been busy tonight. He told us to set were ever we wanted and off he went. A waitress came our way pretty quick took our food order and brought us our drinks 2 teas and 2 waters. Burgers and chicken fries. At 820pm the waitress came over and said it’s still going to be 20-30 before your food will be here, can we offer you some salads or an appetizer. We ask have you started our order. She said it’s the very back order. We talked about it and decided we would go. Work comes early and 2 of our party lives 45 minutes away. We get up walk to the door step outside and the manager runs outside demanding payment for the tea. Frankly I just forgot about it as we were talking about what we were going to eat. Everyone was hungry. I pulled the debit card out of my pocket and gave it to him. He took off with that debit card in a dang near sprint. $4.40 for 2 teas. However it was this last incident that prompted my need for this review. He talked down to me about how he was going to give me a free appetizer and he told me it would take a while for my food. First night was awful. Sat in the bar area 4 of us. Watress took our drink order. We recived the alcohol but not the normal drinks to go with them. Took 30 mins to just grt paid out. Waitress didnt come by enough. Food was pretty good. My fries were hard as a rock. And i told her. Still paid for them. Next week we went back. Great watress . Awesome food. Didn’t have a single issue.
