For the money we spent I expected better food. Ordered lamb medium and was burnt and all gray through! So mad. Seafood plate was soaked in oil the whole bottom of the plate was a puddle. It made the calamari on bottom soaked and couldn’t eat. Shrimp was over cooked and chewy. Service was great until they automatically put a 20% tip on check and then don’t tell you. Shady business practice! Was on the fence with the quality of the expensive food, but now this place is off the list with automatic tip on check. NOPE! I would have tipped her more but not after seeing that! Good thing I caught it snakes.

Been wanting to dine here for a long time and finally went this past weekend. This place met ALL of our expectations! Ken our waiter was excellent! He was attentive, kind and brought out every selection like clockwork. His recommendations were amazing. We had the Prime Rib and T-Bone with garlic mash, stuffed mushrooms, calamari, cream of chicken soup and salads. The Prime Rib cut like butter and the T-Bone was very flavorful and tender both HUGE CUTS. Highly recommend both choices. Appetizers and soup were Devine as well. This place will not disappoint in Food and Class. Everyone was friendly and our experience was amazing. Will definitely be going back. They have earned a happy patron 🙂

Mother’s Day brunch, food was good, service was mediocre, but the food system & seating method was unorganized. Long unnecessary wait time & your only option for eggs was to wait for the omelet station which took the longest. I felt they feel behind on keeping the food replenished as well. I’m not sure how long they have been doing brunch, maybe they are still working out the kinks, but for the price, I was slightly disappointed.

The husband and I attended our friends’ anniversary dinner. We had the crab cakes appetizers, and they were very good. We both had the stuffed chicken breast with potato wedges. He liked his chicken, I didn’t care for mine. It was dry and had too much lemon on it. The wedges were overcooked and burned. If we were to go back, I’d probably try the steak but definitely would stick to the appetizers. Ohh I had the carrotcake to go. It was okay, but I have definitely had better.

Good service. The steaks and lamb lollipops were cooked perfectly, but they lacked flavor. Me personally probably wouldn’t go back due to the fact that my stomach has really been bothering me since leaving there.

If you’re searching for that place with a specific ambiance to take your significant other, or perhaps that small special gathering to treat some friends or family … Rockefeller’s in Oaklawn, IL is that place- great drinks, exceptional food – from the appetizers / main dishes – I split the tomahawk steak with my good friend, it was soo seasoned, and seared to perfection OMG …oh the dessert tray selection is amazing ……..I chose the Chocolate Caramel

Old school Chicago steak house. We had a great new years eve meal here, music was a little loud, but that might have only been a new years eve thing. Lobster mac and cheese was the star of the meal, but my steak was very good, slice of carrot cake for dessert was huge and delicious.

We felt rushed to order entree’s. The stuffed chicken and wedge potatoes were awful. Chicken was so overcooked it was like cardboard. Chicken Alfredo was very very bland.

The food and service was really nice. Very tender and flavorful meats. The seating appeared to be a bit segregated, but I had the impression it was more on the hostesses doing the seating instead of Nick the owner. He was really a nice guy and we pointed it out.
