The Alabama Motormaids stopped in for lunch and enjoyed a meal in a quaint little cafe that had excellent service and great food.

Trying new places. This diner was incredible. I had breakfast and my son had the Philly Cheesesteak. Sweet tea was incredible too.

I went there with my wife, youngest daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandsons. As always the staff was a friendly as can be. They make you feel like walking in for a family meal. The prices are very reasonable and the food is excellent (I had the Loaded Homefries and a biscuit with gravy–Amazing). We all left very content. Definitely the place to stop for some good eating.

This is no longer Rockabilly Cafe! It is now Mayra’s and our breakfast was excellent! The server was very friendly and the bathrooms were clean! What more could you want?! Longer hours? They’ve got it! We’ll come back…hopefully on a Friday night for some crab legs!

The restaurant was clean, the food was fresh and delicious. However, our waitress was rude, impatient, and acted like she was mad at the world. She kept giving us impatient, dirty looks, she didn’t smile a single bit or make us feel welcome or to have a nice day, she didn’t bother coming back to see how we were doing. I even heard her tell one the customers that she will just walk away, when he hesitated on letting her know what he wanted to eat. He said, “Alright. Walk away, then!” And she did! The place is great and the food is wonderful, so I would recommend at least trying it out, but that waitress was the worst I’ve ever encountered!

Excellent little family owned restraunt. Great service, our waitress was extremely attentive even though it was busy. Very tasty food. Just coming from out west, prices are amazing. My husband and I spent less than $20 including a 30% tip!

I don’t understand how this place stays covered up during the day. Ordered breakfast here to-go one week day morning. They were very busy, but my biscuit had that hard texture like it had been sitting there all morning. My meal was supposed to come with gravy for the old biscuit, it did not. The sausage was tolerable, but the eggs smelled like an old sponge. Also had the shredded potato which was a bizarre combination of soggy and crispy with no flavor.

The food was ok, but not only did the waitress get the order wrong, but he service left a lot to be desired. She forgot to bring silverware to the table and she was in such a hurry to drop and run that I had to call her back so I could finish asking for hot sauce. She didn’t bother to check on us. A different waitress refilled my coffee. When checking out she didn’t even bother to ask how everything was or if we needed anything else. I wanted to take some stuff to go but they never gave me the chance to order it. This was my second time here and the first wasn’t much better. If you have another option take it.
