Visiting some friends, they said we had to go here for their frozen strawberry margarita!

That one picture that looks like a flower of meat and shrimp appears to be the Molcajete which is $60 lol. So we stuck with tacos and some apps.

Food was over-priced. It was ok. $64 for chips and queso and salsa, kids cheese quesadillas, skillet that included a small bowl of corn with 4 shrimp. Music was too loud. Waitress couldn’t hear us and we couldn’t talk to each other. Will not be going back.

Rock N Taco wasn’t bad but I think it’s very overpriced for mediocre food and drinks. A regular house margarita tasted like they dumped a bottle of salt into I could barely get the drink down. The flight of margaritas was $38 and the margaritas are extremely small. Think of the size of a mouth wash cup and it’s a smidge bigger than that. Another thing on their menu they have absolutely no descriptions under the food they serve so if you’re allergic to anything like my friend is to avocados definitely ask before ordering! Never brought our table plates until I had to ask. The music is extremely loud so you can’t really have a conversation with the person right next to you. My friend and I spent $126+ (with a $4.44 non-cash fee on our bill … we paid in cash and they never removed it) and we got chips and salsa, a hamburger, 3 tacos, the margarita flight and two “regular” sized margaritas (extremely small). I can at least say I tried it but I won’t be back. I live in the area and I’ve tried a lot of better and more affordable Mexican food. One and done.

The place was super lively, dark with fun lighting here and there. The music was super loud for how dead the place was. But we didn’t really care because it’s NOLA, I felt like the food was kinda over priced for the quality. The hours are great which is why we came here to begin with, it’s the only food place open late if you’re wanting a short walk from the republic. The food was just ok, I paid 40$ for one margarita and rolled tacos (I’m pretty sure each person paid at least $40) All in all I’d eat here again if I was seeing a late show at the republic.

The loaded nachos with grilled chicken was delicious. They have a lot of new servers but everyone was really friendly. I loved the staff and food so much that I went twice in one week. Definitely will be back.

Such a. Good vibe. Good food. Good drinks, good music!!! We have been having the HARDEST time finding food w FLAVOR. Drinks that are GOOD. This is it. If you’re looking stop no further. I had the painquila x’s (I got one then my boyfriend did because they were sooooo good) The carne asada nachos, and the birria tacos. All of it was delicious. The waiter was a sweetie pie.

Made a reservation weeks in advance, were asked to leave after an hour of dining. The food and drinks were ok, nothing special. It was too loud to talk. Then the bill came, gratuity was automatically added and a tip was requested on top. There has to be better restaurants…
