Our server offered us drinks and answered our questions & made suggestions 9right away. A friend and I split the large Caveman dinner salad and the pasta with chicken meal. Both were very tasty. Another at our table enjoyed the shrimp and grits and a side salad. He said his dish had great Cajun flavor. The fourth person had soup and salad with his chicken pasta meal. He added a positive comment about the soup. Our server made a few errors, but overall, he did well. The atmosphere was very pleasant, too.

Service was the best part of dinner. The food was ok. We got the pesto cheesy breadsticks for an appetizer which was delicious. They were out of the half chicken, so I got the pork chop, which was very dry and overcooked and not well seasoned. The strawberry dressing was good. Breakfast time, the service was poor. The food was better than dinner but still under seasoned. Views were great. Overall would not dine again.

My friend and I came to the Lodge Thursday evening. It was too busy in the restaurant to be seated so we headed to the bar. We were greeted by a kind and knowledgeable bartender who served us up some really great drinks alongside pizza that is out of this world!! I’m definitely going to be coming back . Hopefully I’ll be able to check out the restaurant next time but if not the pizza will be calling my name! We tried a few different cocktails on their menu and all were great. I really appreciated the mock-tail section on the menu!

Despite the restaurant being half empty and it being almost halfway through their (short) dinner hours, we were told they they were completely booked for the night. We ordered some food to go instead and it was not worth what we spent. Between our two entrees we maybe got a chicken breast. The food was nothing special and the side salad was just lettuce and carrots (no dressing). Save your money and time and go somewhere else.

We were there for our 55 Anniversary. The food was not what we expected! My seared salmon was dry and over cooked! My baked potato was just warm!! My husband ordered pork chops and fries! His chop was tough and his fries were just warm!! Our bill with a $12.00 tip was $84.35!! What’s with the $2.30 beautification fee?? They need to change the menu and hire a better chef!!! We will not go back!!!

We headed down to the Lodge for lunch yesterday 6-9-23. First time trying it since it was rebuilt. Made a lunch reservation for 1130. We showed about 1115 and were promptly seated. That’s where the service ended. Waited forever for are server to show up. And when she showed she was sporting the lastest in pride gear. Which myself nor my wife appreciated. Express yourself on your own time. We both had burgers. She ordered hers well done while I requested mine medium rare. Both came out hard ,cooked the same and dense. Think hockey puck. The menu said beef was supplied by a local market. Both burgers had no seasoning and tasted like gut. This happens when meat is cross contaminated in a butcher shop. My wife took one bite of hers and said nope, can’t do it. The burgers where not worth the 14.50 for the “forager” and 13.50 for the classic or whatever it was called. We also ordered potato skins as a appetizer. The flavor was good but the centers were cold and tasted like they have been in the fridge overnight. Overall it was a great view with terrible sub par food. I expected a lot better. At $60 for lunch for two I will not be back. We left and went to Dairy Queen.

Beautiful restaurant! The food was all really delicious! And service wasn’t bad. They are plagued with the short staffing problems everyone else seems to have also but all of the servers were great! Also if you plan on having lunch or dinner definitely call and make reservations!
