Literally gave us 2 burgers with the burger patty split in half down the middle. I couldn’t believe it, never have I seen anything like this in my life. My chicken on my poboy was also pink in the middle – had to throw it in the air fryer. I’m sure the owner/manager will come on here and say we should’ve made them aware, but it was a to-go order. We left with our food at 6:40 and they close at 7. By the time we got home, they were closed… $58 wasted.

Word of advice- get the large. Because the small was the saddest lil’ poboy you will ever see. Good flavors and the place is packed, so they must be doing something right. Will come back and try the muffuletta next time.

Consistently a good experience here. Portion sizes are always as expected and we’ve always had hot, tasty food! I highly recommend the cheese fries!

I have say that I was a little underwhelmed and disappointed in my experience. Given all of the rave reviews I was really looking forward to a “great” PoBoy.

We went on a Friday, for lunch. The place was packed! Still, the food came out pretty quick. We had a roast beef poboy, a shrimp poboy, sweet potato fries, and cheesy fries. 56 bucks. It’s a little high, and I’ve had better shrimp poboys, but all in all we really enjoyed it and will go back. The roast beef poboy is really something special!

Great Po boys and general unhealthy goodness. The kind of quick eats that are perfect for hearty lunches, hangovers, and comfort. I’m sure they have healthy options but do yourself a favor and load up the meat, cheese, and gravy. I come to Baton Rouge and new orleans every year to eat mostly and this was the only place I went to twice last trip. The downsides are the limited operating hours and the fried pickles really should be spears and not chips.

I see several reviews saying it’s like home(New Orleans), but it’s not. We got a shrimp po boy and a catfish po boy at best, it was ok. They are not made with French bread, which means everything. Plus, the order was messed up. We paid $48 dollars for 2 sandwiches and 2 20 ounce drinks. Added cheese fries, and it was just a few sprinkles of shredded cheese. I would rather Charlie’s cheese fries!!!!!!

I had seen a lot of great reviews for this place so I figured I’d see for myself.
