Every course is amazing. Everything is of quality, super fresh, and delicious. The staff help customize your experience and do a great job of presenting the dish. They also have the best rap playlist of any restaurant I’ve gone too.

We tried the premium tasting and you get a crazy amount of high quality fish for the price. The plating is well done, the flavor combinations are incredible, and there’s a hefty list of wines/beer/sake. The staff was really friendly and did a great job of explaining the dishes to us. Bonus points for having the greatest hip hop soundtrack playing the background during dinner!

Wow, impressive omakase. Well, being a ceramic hobbyist, i LOVED the way each dish was paired with a different and unique hand made dish, well matched in color, texture and shape. This type of attention to details ENHANCED my visual experience. I loved my 3D teacup so much, i wish i could’ve taken it home.

I cannot say enough good things about Robin. The 2 times I ate here were the best 2 meals of my life. They did a wonderful job creating a custom menu for us that was our desired price point, included our favorite things, and allowed us to try new things that we loved! Each course is served on beautiful handmade ceramics that elevate the food. The meal ended with the most delicious coconut soft serve ice cream. I truly can’t wait to visit again!

The omakase was great and the wine selection was excellent. We loved the variety and quality of the fish that was used. My only minor quibble is that the pace of the meal slowed dramatically toward the end (~15 minutes between the last few courses). Still, it was a memorable meal for a memorable occasion, and the dessert and plum wine were a great way to end the night.

Robin knows its sushi. From perfectly seasoned rice under some of the freshest fish you’ll find in SF, the flavor combinations they offer you in each bite certainly deliver. Spins on classics like albacore with crispy shallots, to inventive pairings like hake with citrus zest, each bite is unique. I was particularly impressed with each fish’s garnish. Soy marinated black garlic, Yuzukosho, miso cured egg yolk, pickled green apple – they were all fantastic. Certainly on the pricier side, a satisfying meal will run you around $200 per person after taxes and tip, but if you’re in the mood for a good omakase, Robin will deliver.

This place really puts the “special” into special occasion. I’ve had very good omakase before, but I can’t remember ever being so happy in my mouth with every bite that I was actually angry. Loved the mismatched pottery and the extensive sake menu as well. The service was fantastic. Will definitely be back again for another special occasion!
