First time here and we were impressed. Hadn’t expected to find such a good restaurant in a small town. This chef knows what he is doing. I ate the shrimp and sausage pasta – delicious but a little spicy. My husband had the Philly cheese steak sandwich. He loved it along with the French fries which were fresh and crispy. And then the bread pudding. Yum! It’s worth a trip just to go back for the bread pudding. We will definitely be back.

Very disappointed no cocktail bar Cajun seafood pasta was way too spicy couldn’t eat it and told the waitress but she didn’t offer to take it off the bill or any discount. Chicken pasta was just ok not a wow. Pastry app was ok. nothing with it all but 4 small rolls and a spoonful of butter barely enough to butter ur bread, won’t be back

Had a girls lunch date and had the sangria and stuffed peppers and my friend had the southwest chicken salad and all of it was great. Service was attentive and atmosphere was nice. Thanks for having us for our first time. We will be back.

We called ahead and made reservations for dinner, and were immediately seated on our arrival. We started with the stuffed mushrooms which were great. Then we had a delicious shrimp dish and added the seafood cake. The flavors were great, the plating was on point, and it was the perfect portion for us. We finished the meal with the berry creme brulee, which was also delish! Service was good throughout. Definitely will be back!

Music could’ve been a little louder. Walked in, and it was quiet. I could hear the table next to me conversation very clearly. The food was good. I had the blackened catfish, and it was good. The rice was good along with the coleslaw. Chicken fried steak was good as well. The food was hot and flavorful.

Went to Robert’s for the first time and we will definitely be back. Our waitress was delightful and very personable. The dirty rice was the best I have ever tasted. Gator nuggets cooked to perfection. The rolls, stuffed shrimp, seafood cakes and collard greens are outstanding.

This is our only “nice” restaurant within 10 miles and some of the food is outstanding! I have never liked collards and yet it is my vegetable of choice. Many people are thrilled with everything about Robert’s. The wait staff is very good…my not rating service as a 5 is because of the attitude of the chefs (owners). When I had a meal that was cold and not seasoned per my request, the owner did not apologize in any way. He simply gave me a deadpan look and said “ok”. Generally, the food is very good- though not what I would rate at a 5, considering the prices. We go there fairly often though I would prefer going to Italian Gardens, a little further north on Hwy 306.

The food and service was fantastic. We had a great evening there. The stuffed pork chop was cooked to perfection and we will definitely be going back soon. (Don’t forget to try their jalapeno grits)

After enjoying Houston food for many years, we were resigned to a paucity of high-quality dining near Canyon Lake. Robert’s changes that. We ordered chicken fried steak and shrimp and jalapeno grits. For dessert we had bread pudding and biegnets.

There was only one other table occupied. They need to do better at attracting new business. Service was excellent, but hard to judge, since it was so empty. Think they need help, in attracting locals, as well as vacationers. May be trying to look High Class. That makes people think they are expensive. Will return at a different time of day, just to compare. My server was very polite and efficient. I did notice cobwebs in the ceiling area, above me.
