I’ve been going to this buffet on Fridays for Seafood Night for a few months now. I will admit that some of the buffet items aren’t really that edible and for $27.00 it’s not that great a deal, and for the additional $14 or so that you pay for the crab legs or lobster tails you get pretty sad looking food. Yes, there are issues with some tables not being cleaned promptly and being understaffed sometimes.

Waited in line for 30 minutes to pay for the buffet on a Saturday night. Then once we were seated it took 20 minutes to get our drinks. They were featuring prime rib and it was the worst my husband and I have ever had. All the food I tried wasn’t good…even the dessert and my husband said the cottage cheese was even bad. Paid $25/person for an awful meal that I ended up leaving the casino early because I had a stomach ache after eating here. I could have spent less on my meal at a sit down restaurant and had better food and service for the price of what we paid here. We won’t be coming back here to eat. Ever.

Went on a Saturday in August, prime rib was the main item. Stood in line for 20 minutes even though many tables were empty but they didn’t have enough servers. Price was $24 total and they ask you to pay and leave tip in advance which is very rude (I know in Vegas they do that and it’s still rude, don’t copy them).

This review is a bit late but we had went to Roberts Buffet for July 4th a few years ago. Being a southerner, with a love of fried catfish, my family was curious when we saw that Robert’s Buffet was serving fried catfish on that particular day. We all tried it, and all of love it!! It was prepared the way I remember all of the family reunions when I was a child. Those were some of the best family events ever! The Buffet was very clean, the service was speedy and everyone is always so friendly and courteous. We have now made Grand Falls Casino a planned trip several times a year, even with Covid, it is still a great place to go!

Captain Bob needs to be fired. $13.99 extra per pound for the crab legs now, not 11.99 like a lot of other reviews mention. They also claim they are “made to order!?” You hand them them a slip and they hand you a wrapped up plate of legs, definitely not made to order — cold and overcooked. To make matters worse, they were out of beef so without paying the extra charge you were left with dried up ham or soggy fried chicken. Less food offered at a higher price than any other night doesn’t make much sense to me. The friendly staff was the only redeemer this particular visit. Will definitely not be coming back on Friday nights.

Though the food was good, BEWARE if you are allergic to fish. After taking a bite of a chicken finger I knew immediately that the chicken had been in the same fryer as fish. When we asked this was confirmed that all fried items share oil. It would be nice if something to warn people was posted. Luckily I was able to taste it and feel the tingling before swallowing it.

Thanksgiving this year was our family’s first holiday without my mother. She passed away from COVID-19. We decided to try Roberts Thanksgiving Buffet. We were extremely satisfied with the organization and service. The food was great! The wait was worth it! They had everything that would be considered home cooked meal with extra’s that were not, just in case you wanted something else. Thank You to the staff for a great job well done! And thank you to the staff for working on a holiday to give our families a wonderful experience!

Took the family on Christmas day. What a treat no cooking no dishes too do. Love being pampered. The buffet was loaded with different kinds of potatoes, chicken prime rib, ham they even had shrimp I didn’t see it tell end. Every thing was very good. I didn’t hear any complaints from anyone in our group. Our service was great. Reasonable prices could not go wrong.

The facility is very nice and staff does a great job at constant clean up around the gaming floor and restaurants. We ate at Robert’s Buffet and the food was not really that impressive. We knew from past experience that if you show up too late, things have sat out and wouldn’t really that appealing. So, we came to eat at 630 pm thinking that buffet items would be fresh… we thought wrong. Everything was just really mediocre. Staff was inattentive and only filled our drinks one time. I asked for ketchup twice, and eventually found a different server that brought it to me. I would probably eat here again if invited or in a large group, but I wont be going out of my way to plan a meal here.
