Used to live in the area and visit this taco shop frequently. Had to stop there while in town. The food is pretty good Mexican food. Love the carne asada fries. I was not impressed with the long wait, lack of friendly service, and the prices. It’s crazy how much fast Mexican food is now. Also not cool that 1/2 order of carne asada fries is only about $1 cheaper than a full order. Had to ask for my receipt and verify when I got my total. But I do recommend the food.

I just paid 12 dollars for what I thought would be a good breakfast burrito, really just a bunch of unseasoned eggs with a couple tiny pieces of potatoes and a lump of sausage in the middle. It was really gross, Because there were no potatoes to soak up any of them moisture it leaked all over me before work and to top it all off they forgot my guacamole.

If you’re looking for a top notch breakfast burrito with everything delicious, the California Breakfast Burrito is the way to go. It’s huge to boot! I cannot recommend it enough with the egg, cheese, meat in just the right proportion. Get it!

The line can be long but the wait is worth it. All of the San Diego favorites, fish tacos, California Burritos, Carne Asada Fries. Don’t forget to get a side of hot carrots. Not your average fast food spot.

The worst burrito I’ve ever had !! California Breakfast Burrito!!! It’s like they take little or no pride in their food and you can tell !! I had to throw it away because it was disgusting!! 12 dollar lesson learned !! I will never even think of eating here again !!!!

Love love the red salsa and carne asada nachos. Eat everything I come into town. Sometimes the order is not right but food is the best Mexican around.

HORRIBLE FOOD!!! I am so disappointed in the quality of the fish taco I ordered. As you can see in the photos, it is incredibly dry and flat. As well as it was only topped with some dry cabbage. I would prefer Sombreros across the street any day.

I ordered the soft taco grilled shrimp, carne asada, and adobada. Grilled shrimp tacos were amazing, would definitely order again. The carne asada and the adobada were average to most of the other taco shops I have been to. For convenience and price per taco it was average. Would come here again.
