Great atmosphere, great people, and tremendous food. The bread and the accompaniment should be a food group by itself.

We came in on a busy weekend. The restaurant was completely full. The hostess let us know there would be a wait for a table. Once a table was available the staff immediately cleared the table and set it for us to sit down. The staff and our hostess were extremely nice. We ordered our food and it was served quickly. The atmosphere is nice here, the food is fantastic and the staff is top notch. If I’m back in Youngstown I will definitely be back at Roberto’s. Thanks again to the staff and our hostess, it was an enjoyable experience coming to your establishment.

This restaurant is fantastic. Dominic was our server and he was prompt and hospitable. The food was absolutely delicious! I took my mom there for Mothers Day and it was most definitely an experience to remember. We met the owner, Roberto and he was very personable and kind. Will most definitely be going back!!!

Since my hubby knows I LOVE authentic Italian food. He made reservation for us on Mother’s Day. Food was great, I had the lasagna with sausage sauce, he had the parmesan chicken and the kids had the spaghetti with meatball. Our waiter (sorry can’t remember his name) was outstanding! There was live entertainment too, although it could be loud at time especially since we was near the speaker, I though was a nice touch.

Food wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t amazing either. The ribeye was well cooked and seasoned with a side of lumpy risotto and broccoli. Portions are decent. Restaurant is very dark. Party in the basement was even darker. Folding tables to accommodate. Good location downtown near hotel. Outside seating for those who smoke.

Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this great restaurant!! I had calamari for an appetizer and the pan seared scallops for the main course. For me personally, I would get the sauce for the calamari on the side. As it was just me, I couldn’t eat them fast enough and the sauce tends to take away the crispness of the fried calamari, just a preference as they are excellent. As for the scallops… By far the best I’ve ever gotten at any restaurant!! I noticed the meatballs on someone else’s table and inquired if they were homemade… silly question… and can’t wait to go back and try them too. You’ll thank me for going!!

They were very busy but the food was well worth the wait!!! Our server Zach did a great job of handling our large party and went out of his way to make sure we were happy. It was our first visit, but we look forward to dining here again!!!

I have only been here once and only had one dish, it was sub par at best. I ordered the sausage polenta, the flavor or lack thereof left much to be desired. The ambience is nice though. Quaint restaurant in the heart of downtown. Plenty of on street parking on Monday night. I’d give it one more try, but keep expectations lower.

I got the eggplant parm which was very good. I had not been there before so i did not know what to expect. The sauce was great. Friend got the scallops from the salad menu which she enjoyed. We ate before the concert at the amp and had reservations which was good. Our waiter was very good but seemed overwhelmed. I don’t think they are ready for these busy summer events. When we were seated they had a limited selection as they were waiting gorca liquor delivery. Dont see how that should happen with a little planning. Would go back.
