Roadside, or Sportsman’s (the old name, which is what my husband’s family all call it, since they have been going here for decades), is a fantastic little gem of a cafe. The food is great! Highly recommend the patty melt and the burgers were great. My mother-in-law is a fan of the hot beef sandwich. And save room for pie. Seriously so so good!

The classic American diner! I love this place, I have ate here my entire life! My grandmother and my aunt both worked here, years ago, they are still using the same recipes in their bakery as way back then. Get a caramel roll, a cinnamon roll, pie, or anything from their bakery, you WILL NOT be disappointed.

Local diner serving the tourist crowds passing thru. Friendly service. I ordered the hot beef sandwich, a restaurant specialty. The odd thing: I saw the cook put my sandwich up in the order window where it sat for awhile. When the waitress finally scooped it up, she disappeared around a corner, where I could see her but not what she was doing. I assume she put my plate in the microwave. When she brought it back to me it had the temperatures of being microwaved: warm to cold on outside and too hot inside. It tasted OK but hot/fresh it wasn’t.
