There’s a small section of mesa verde national park’s drive that juts into — and then out of— the Ute Native American reservation. Here, you can find a fantastic roadside fry bread stand serving the freshest fry bread imaginable. You’ll see the dough made in front of your eyes and then fried to perfection onto a plate for you to eat.

Such a nice surprise during our visit to Mesa Verde. The couple working were so nice and the fry bread was very good (especially the sweet version with honey!)

Stopped there today while touring the park. The fry bread was delish. We ate while a cute crow watched us from the awning above.
