Established in 1969, the Roadhouse Bar & Grill has been one of the most recognized businesses on Puyallup’s South Hill. After 50+ years, we made the financial decision to sell the building during the Covid-19 pandemic, which forced us to make a transition. Not wanting to close our doors for good, we opted for a smaller location just 2 miles south on Meridian Ave. Now located at 18810 Meridian Ave E, we are running at full capacity daily, and welcoming all our faithful friends through the years, as well as many new customers. Great food good place… It’s a bit tiny but it’s a fun place… We started with the pretzels…a bit crunchy and the cheese was very runny….I had the roadhouse salad with crispy chicken and ranch and it was delicious… He had the chicken and Joe’s… It was very good definitely recommend.

I tried out their new location, clean, friendly staff, good service. I had the Friday Fish and Chips, it was served with fries, coleslaw, and clam chowder more than reasonably priced. Everything looked great and tasted good and told the bar staff how great the chowder was. Two hours later I was very ill, nausea, GI discomfort (toilet trips) and a severe headache. This is the first time I had what I believe was food poisoning in decades. What was a 5 star had to be deducted to 3 sadly. Other than the food borne illness everything was great. I suspect it was the chowder.

Lived across the street from this place for a year before trying it, and man were we missing out. My husband and I came to try their pub food and left with full bellies and big grins. Their dips are savory and delicious, the tater tots (with the exception of one time) are made perfectly and are super flavorful and light, and everything else we have tried thus far has been insanely delicious and very nicely presented! Go for the pull tabs or whatever you’re into, but stay for the food!

First time in the new location! Great lunchtime atmosphere! The greeting, when entering, was very welcoming and cheerful. The “to go” orders of gizzards and salads and they weren’t quite ready upon arrival but it didn’t take long. This place is very nice! The decorations, the restroom, the service and the food are all wonderful! Great job!! Thank you!!

I came in for lunch. I’ve passed this place for awhile now and have been wanting to try it. I had the patty melt with fries. The burger was delicious and freshly made. The atmosphere is pretty chill. There were several games on. The service was great. I’ll definitely come back.

Great place to hang out on game day, Bloody Mary bar only $5.00! Owner Anna Jo purchased the NFL package so it is football all the way with many TV’s to view from every seat has a great view. This local bar and grill has been around for years and is a local favorite up on South Hill. They offer pull tabs as well as bar run activities such as bingo throughout the week. Great choice in bar food, with daily specials, beer on tap as well as bottles, and mixed drinks. Pleasant counter staff, always clean,and there is plenty of seating and parking as well as easy on off of Meridian. If you have not tried the Roadhouse yet and are new to the area or a traveler stop on in and say hello.

They have moved from the place across from Target to where Brown Bear, Pizza Hut, and Kassies Korner are. It’s much smaller, but the atmosphere is still great, drinks are bomb, and customer service is great!
