Had high hopes open arrival. Sunday’s buffet was cheap but so was the quality, basically a salad bar and potato bar with hoagies and some dessert. Also no real menu until 430pm guess I should have read the website and not trusted billboards

Best home style buffet in Branson. Living in Branson we have an abundance of home cooking restaurants, buffets and chains that all begin to blend together. Roadhouse 165 is different.

Terrible!! I know this is a new business but the food was awful. Fried shrimp was cold and rubbery, fried chicken breast was also cold and dry, boxed fish was also cold, brown gravy had a film coating on top and looked like pudding, baked potato was brown on the inside from sitting under the heat lamp so long. The tongs on the salad bar were cheap and bent every time you tried to get croutons. Your drinks are served in plastic cups, which cost $3.75, and your ice cream comes pre packaged in the small cups, only thing missing was the wooden spoon. Not good for $25 per person.

The buffet was not good. Potato bar potatoes were not cut, so you can open them and no knife to try. Warm ranch on buffet, salad bar wasn’t cold . Hot rolls were hard , and chicken was undercooked. Try tip left out in the heat lamp when bitten was cold in middle had been sitting for so long. The Smash Burger was 5.6 out of ten; nothing to right home about wendys is better. Fries with burgers were undercooked by 3 minutes. Waiting staff is very friendly, I feel bad for them having to serve this food. They are trying to be a bar and restaurant and failing at both. Drink was way too strong. The mixture of drink was completely off. Positive was fast to get in and out of no diners there to slow you down.

We had the best experience as first-time diners. Our server Ariel was fast, friendly, and did a great job with our group of 7. The two gentlemen who were cutting and serving the trip tip steak were friendly. The food was great. The carrot cake was the most delicious!

Service was good. The buffet was horrible. Food was cold. I don’t know what I had but it was mashed potatoes and pasta together and so gross. Fried chicken was cold. Catfish was good but cold. Mashed potatoes were good. The corn was the best thing they had. This place has potential if they can do better with the food.

The host was nice when he seated us. But we did not see our server for some time. Someone else finally stopped to ask if someone came to our table. Finally our server came she was polite enough took our drink order after that I think she was more interested in talking to some guy at the bar. I had to go to her for refills on our teas. The staff looked losted grouping together at times. Too much money I say for what this was salad bar was not stocked running out of items and not filing them. Fish was cold but I said something and they quickly pulled it and remade more good for them for that part. The meatloaf was more like taco like meatloaf.. I had high hopes for this place hope they can figure it out. They are going to have to up their game if charging 24.99 per person and 3.75 per person for drinks like ice tea in small glasses. Warning: go look at the buffet first!!!

Food was excellent! Love the steak on the buffet. I hear they are coming out with a full steak menu as well. Price was reasonable for the food. I got to try the chicken tenders off their taproom menu. WOW! Crazy good. Seriously the best in town! I feel like they have something for everyone. Not the biggest buffet selection in town, but the quality was great. Tough to go wrong with fried chicken, fish, and steak! They didn’t have live music when we were there, but they do have some on weekends. Server was incredible and super attentive! Facebook page and website have more info! Great stuff!
