Food was good. I got a fried chicken dinner with ,two sides and hush puppies and a drink for $9.50. My husband got two cheese burger. He said they were “straight”. My nephew got hamburger steaks and fries. He said it was good. My other nephew got hot dogs. He said they was alright. Overall everything was great. Price reasonable. Friendly family atmosphere.

Great service. Personable Owners and staff. Great country food and a great Spring Strawberry salad. Blueberry Crunch was outstanding as well. Just passing through Farmville today but will be back as a vendor at the Blueberry Festival. Can’t wait to come here again.

Great tasting country food that gives little rocket a run for their money. Staff is so welcoming and helps my kids with their order in the mornings. It’s an over all great place to eat. You need to try it.

I had a quick breakfast there. The biscuit was fluffy with just the right amount of cheese. Only place in Farmville where the country ham isn’t dry. Polite staff. SUPER CLEAN restaurant and kitchen. Go check them out, but bring cash! They don’t currently take credit cards

The Road Runner Cafe is a quaint neighborhood spot to eat lunch. The customers and owners are very nice. I was amazed at the selection of food items for such a small joint. They have mac and cheese, baked apples, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, cabbage and collard greens. There are several items to choose from made special to order and right off the grill. My favorite lunch specials turned out to be the mashed potatoes and cabbage. Next time I will order from the grill as I did not enjoy the fried chicken. Im looking forward to returning and I plan on having a grilled chicken wrap or a BLT. Happy cooking and see you soon!

They are sooooooo accommodating. It was 1130am and we wanted breakfast. They we already doing lunch but they made us breakfast with scambled eggs, toast, and cheesy grits. Plus they even thanked us for coming. LOVED THAT THEY ARE OPEN ON SATURDAYS TILL 2PM NOW!
