Amazing sandwiches. And honestly, the guy works his tail off getting the food ready. We just had a really long wait, since there is only so much one person can do. If you aren’t in a rush, and can enjoy a few beers while wIting, it’s a 5. We had reservations for an activity and only had an hour for lunch.

I am not generally a big fan of RMU in general. Despite being a local I find that the only way I can get service there is to go with my younger friends who know the employees there. Otherwise I wind up waiting forever at the bar to get my order taken.

Cozied away in RMU’s charming Beer Garden (located behind their Ski Shop & Tavern), the Food Truck has to be one of the grooviest spots to grab a bite in Breckenridge! This winter, the truck is a grilled cheeserie, with something for everyone. I tend to get the “Fungus Amongus” with Sautéed Garlic Mushrooms, Fresh Arugula, White Truffle Oil, Melty White Cheddar & Swiss Cheeses on Buttery Sourdough Bread. Couple that with a steaming bowl of Tomato Basil Bisque & you’re ready to lounge in the socially-distanced “huts” (chic greenhouses with benches, rugs, & heaters), or around one of the raised fire-pits. Oh, did I mention that RMU has the best cocktail menu in the High Rockies? Great beers on tap, a full ski & tune shop…definitely a must.
