My daughter and I hosted a retirement dinner party for my wife celebrating almost 30 years. We had her retirement party at the Riverwalk Restaurant. It was an excellent choice. Crystal Harrell was the manager of the restaurant and she did a wonderful job coordinating everything the day of the party. The food was very good and many people went back for seconds. We had the dinner buffet style. The food choices we picked were glazed salmon, pork loin, and parmesan chicken. For dessert, we had Kahlua Chocolate Mousse. We had a total of 51 guests and with the room rental, the wait staff, food, and three hours of party time, the cost was less than $5,000, which was a great price for what we wanted to do. Crystal and her general manager, Steven worked hard to make this party a huge success! I would go back to the Riverwalk again for another party in the future. It was the best party we have ever had and Crystal and her staff helped to make it successful!

For Mother’s Day this year, I wanted something special as we had a large group of 9 adults and 2 children. After much research, I chose reservations at the Riverwalk Restaurant for the buffet, @ 1pm. I have been to this restaurant 2 times before and the food was enjoyable. Unfortunately, this was not the case yesterday. I received the menu via email a few weeks prior to our visit. We were all delighted with the choices, and there was plenty of variety to satisfy everyone. To say the food was mediocre would be generous. I found the food to be poorly heated, dried out and quite frankly, not tasty. I also was disappointed that the menu boasted that the breakfast bar would be offered all day. I believe there was food out there, but what was presented was hard, dried out; again poorly heated or maybe overheated. Who knows, but it looked terrible. I felt bad that our group agreed that it was disappointing. I’m sure there are folks who thought this was good and maybe even some who thought it was great. However, we were not one of them. Thankfully, the Mothers’ that attended were great sports and we decided the day was a success because we were together and enjoyed each others company.

Manager was awful! We ordered drinks when we sat down didn’t get them. Finally we get them and my drink was completely watered down! When I said something the manager was not nice and seemed upset when clearly you knew the drink had been sitting for a long time! Good was just alright

We were invited for the Easter Buffet. Words can not describe how wonderful it was. Everyone from the Prime Rib to the Tuna was cooked to perfection. The shrimp were huge, largest I have ever seen on a buffet.

Mother’s Day Brunch was, for lack of a better word, disappointing. The buffet was poorly restocked, Golden corral quality, and ALL the food was cold for how long the line was. Definitely not worth $311.00 for 3 people plus drinks. also very presumptuous to include a 20% tip but that’s okay.

Went for mother’s day buffet 60 per person. Drinks were not included in price food was ok at best. Food that should’ve ben hot was cold food that was supposed to be out wasn’t! For the 800 dollars we spent for 9 adults and 2 children there are definitely better options! It was 25 a piece for both children 2 years of age (ridiculous). If i could give 0 stars i would thats how disappointing of an experience it was. Waitress was great with nice views that’s only thing that place has going for it.

Nice little restaurant in the city, the burgers were great. Nice spot to grab some food with friends and see the city. Kid friendly, nice staff and right next a little river cruise. Nice for first date nights.
