After seeing some of the disappointing reviews, we had second thoughts on coming here. Fortunately, we made the right decision. This buffet was amazing. Many options to choose from and the food was spectacular. Thank god they kept this buffet open along the river! The atmosphere was fantastic. Very clear views of the river. If your lucky, you might even get the seated by the window! But overall, I would rate this experience a 10 but I can only do five. Best buffet in Laughlin!

We went to have dinner there this week on Thursday 5/18/2023. First of all what they charge for the buffet is way overpriced, $45 for my husband & I. We are both vegetarian & usually a buffet has more than enough choices to accommodate us. There were very few choices. Even the salad bar didn’t have many options to even make a decent salad. They had some pasta I decided on. Some minestrone soup. I had a slice of pecan pie that was edible. Our server was nice & offered us coffee with us having to ask for it. Even with what little I ate it didn’t set well with me. Didn’t feel that great that evening. We had to go to the gift store & buy my husband some antacids. He had eaten some Chinese food they had. He said it didn’t taste right but with no other options he ate it. We will never go back again. Way over priced & the food was horrible!! The only positive was they have a beautiful view of the river.

The great service could not make up for the horrible food. It is outright disgusting! Not to mention, it’s $23. I’m sure that people like us only go there because it is the only buffet open in the casinos. I read the reviews, but the majority in our group got the vote, and we ended up here. The salad bar was okay with minimal selections. The lunch meat was discolored. Everything was cooked to a mush. Even the desserts were off. I don’t live in the area, but if I did, I know that I would not go back. -Regina

After reading the horrible reviews, we almost didn’t try out the buffet. I’m glad we decided to go. Salad bar was delicious and fresh, dessert and ice cream were delicious too. My husband loved the fried catfish. We all had the sweet and sour chicken and it was very good. Try for yourself since it is the only buffet on the river. The staff was very friendly and kind.

Eat anywhere else! I’ve eaten at almost every buffet in Las Vegas and the food here is inedible to the point where I feel I had to write a review that I will email to the Riverside Resort. The pretty veneer and expansive view of the river masks the absolute putrid food quality, zero value for money and repulsive dining experience at the Riverside Buffet. It is tremendously overpriced with some of the lowest-quality food I have ever had the displeasure of eating.

Recently went here 6/22/2023 and the food was awful. Alot of the food looked like it was frozen oven food. The variety of food is very small , all of the food selection is placed in a corner. The only good i can say was the salad but all the hot food was really terrible. They had dessert but its left outside for too long and made them look unappealing. You can serve yourself ice cream but there was no toppings at all. Will not be coming back at alll . The price was very expensive for the quality of food my family and i got.

In reality the service doesn’t even deserve a star at all. Worst service ever. The server brought our sodas at the beginning one round. And she disappeared. Well we wanted more soda/water no one ever came. So i decided to go get my own only to get yelled at. I said well if no one is going to service us then i should get up and get my own… Then manger came started yelling at me as well, said for me to sit down i said I’ve waited over 40 mins for a refill and if no one wants to serve them i will. After going back and forth i finally got my drinks went back sat down and long behold there comes out waitress but she never asked if we needed anything. So to get to the point bad service and they need to get new managers and waitress that want to help and work.

If we could give this a BIG ZERO we would. The only thing going for this buffet is the small salad bar – and even that was so minimal that we had to go to another section buffet to find cottage cheese, onions and pickles. Weird. The food – and I mean ALL of it – tasted like it came straight from a chemical manufacturing plant and they just added some flavor – so tasteless. French toast slices were hard and stale, the chicken-fried steak was tough and dry, the BBQ pulled pork was like a brown liquid sugar paste with a slight BBQ flavor. My gosh, even the bacon was tasteless! How can bacon be tasteless??!! Desserts were a joke – stale, hard and again, tasteless. This was a complete waste of time, money and calories. I’ve heard that many assisted living facilities have horrible, highly processed food they serve their vulnerable senior residents. The food here is what I imagine that to taste like. Will NEVER go back!!
