I personally enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and it had a great view being right on the river. Only thing was I didn’t expect so many bones in my fish, nearly choked on one. That however was my fault because I had no knowledge of how it was made. I would recommend if your looking for a small place to have a a reasonably price meal.

Passing through and decided to stop for lunch. The place was closed and it a person or car in sight…12:30 on Saturday…sign in window read “Closed after Mother Day”….maybe for good?

We love to eat at Rivers Edge! Quiet and spacious seating. Casual dress. Personable and prompt service. Delicious hush puppies while waiting for the meal. Wonderful fried herring plates!! Located on the banks of the Roanoke River. No need to hurry to the big towns – this is another one of Jamesville’ and Martin County’s great spots to eat.
