Very friendly, family atmosphere. The employees were very warm and friendly! The entire place had an at home feel to it. The food was incredible. It has been a long time since I’ve had a restaurant give me that home cooked meal feel to it. This was just like I remembered from being a kid!!! WONDERFUL experiance.

Food is pricey for a fried-catfish place 10 miles out of any town. Staff was friendly And the food was good. They do give you a lot of sides.

Lovely performance from the “hillbilly” guy outside playing on the cigar style box guitar while we waited in line for the door to open. Very sweet and attentive waitress, she was amazing as they were getting quite busy. More so of an “older” crowd. My son and bf got a ribeye with fries with sweet tea. My daughter got shrimp and fries with tea and I got the seafood platter with water. The piece of catfish was really good, but the popcorn shrimp, butterfly shrimp and clam strips were definitely not what I’d call fresh seafood and the hush puppies were swimming in grease. It reminded me of the frozen seafood from Walmart in the boxes or seafood you’d get from Captain D’s. I should’ve opted for a steak or strictly catfish myself because it wasn’t that satisfying. They have a very pleasant view overlooking the flint river. Bill ended up being $130 not including the tip, but for that type of money I was in a bit of shock and disappointed for the quality of the food.

Great Catfish. Still the best I’ve had in a long time. All you can eat. This place is always busy on the weekend when they open. Standing room only. Great views of the Flint River. Private party rooms available. Give them a try.

My family has eaten at River Bend restaurant for over 40 years! Love, love the fried catfish, hot and moist everytime! Hush puppies and French fries fried to a golden brown. Cole slaw is so good and fluffy. The owners are personable and friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant! Anything you order is wonderful. Definitely worth our 45 mins drive!

Loved this little place out in the woods. Literally at the end of a dead end road! Beautiful view of the river from the deck of the restaurant. The food was awesome and the service was even better!

Food was very very over priced did not get extra sides will not go back because of the prices watress was very sweet but some of the others service was not friendly it was like your bothering me type of attiuded but our waitress waa amazing
