We came here for lunch today. I ordered some chili and it was fantastic. It came in a nice bowl with a layer of cheese baked on top with a little crispiness on it. It was fantastic and really surprised me. The rest of the food the family had was also definitely above average. A nice surprise on a beautiful Saturday!

Found this hidden gem while out doing other errands. Amazing service. Great menu. Will be back!

Had to come up to Raleigh so we searched for a nice lunch spot while we were here and this place was close by. They advertised “lunch special for 12.99” which included a sandwich, side, and bottled beverage. My husband got the lunch special and was charged 2.75 for his “included bottle beverage”. I asked for shredded cheese to sprinkle over my salad and was charged a $1. We had to ask for simple things that you should have while dining like a napkin and the waitress could not have been less enthused about her job. There’s much better places to try for the price we paid to eat here.

Heard from a friend that this place was awesome. Food taste OK but not impressed with a club sandwich with this amount of bacon and a salad of brown lettuce that should have never been served. Too much competition out there for this. Maybe better in person where you can send it back if it’s not right. Called back because I got two club sandwiches and both had a tiny piece of bacon on each half. No offer to fix anything, just the reassurance that each club only comes with two pieces of bacon. In that case don’t call it a club.

Not very good. Fries really dark brown and soggy. Veg Sammy on untoasted bread, the grilled veg was just a few spoonfuls of maybe a burger garnish. I had 5x the bread to veg ratio. I got beer 15 min before friends arrived, server didn’t ask if I wanted a 2nd nor brought any water. I won’t be back.

Tried it out on a Tuesday night and really enjoyed it. Warm decor, relaxing and upbeat atmosphere. The menu includes sandwiches, burgers, snack food, salads, and entrees like Cajun steak. The waitress told us that our fish and chips plates would have a lot of food, and she was not lying! The slaw had a different flavor than I expected..it was good and unexpected. A great place for a weekday date or to have drinks and conversation with a group of friends.

Great spot. I’m not in that area often, but I had lunch with my family here recently. Great burger & fries! We definitely recommend it & would go back. Staff was great!

Awesome, lil pub. Everything I have ordered has been amazing, I have had at least 5 different items from the menu! And they have outdoor seating, where you can eat and drink! Must go!

My husband and I went for dinner Saturday night and I hadn’t eaten all day so we probably ordered more food than we should have. The food was good, just a little too salty. The standouts were definitely the fries and onion rings. We order the steak quesadilla, French onion soup, chili, and burgers. My husband ordered two different beers neither of which they had. But our waitress saved the night she was friendly, attentive, and a pleasure.

We were pleasantly surprised on our first visit. From the outside it looks like a hole in the wall, but the interior is nicer than we expected. The menu is above average for a pub, with a good variety. The club sandwich is no joke! Good luck eating it all. The River Cheeseburger is yummy, but the seasoning is a little on the salty side so it may not appeal to everyone. I enjoyed it, though! You can’t go wrong with the tater tots either.
