Cd’A is enigmatic to me for pizza. They love their wood fired pizza; which to me is code for: small, expensive, and trendy. I know these guys, and have been to both their other locations. It’s utility pie, and very consistent in quality and quantity. Our dinner focus was on a specialty salad we got from a food truck nearby, so this pizza/wing offering was more side dish to the greens. In that regard, they were a welcomed bite. Their formula for a solid pie makes me think we will be seeing even more River City Pizzas in our extended metro area. Have gotten pizza and calzones-we first started ordering from River City about a year ago and was thrilled with the pizza – but the last three times I’ve ordered they have been out of major ingredients- one time it was wings, the next time it was chicken for the pizza and another time they really skimped on cheese. Consistency is key and I understand one time being short on an item – but three times in a row seems suspicious to me. Last time I went to pick up my order I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the food prep area.

I called in an order and was advised it would be 45 minutes to pick up. I arrived at the store and was told my order had been deleted because of a system reboot but if I still wanted the pizza they could have it ready in 5 minutes. I wanted the pizza so I waited. 25 minutes later one of the staff asked me what I was waiting for and then the original person that told me my order had been deleted came over and asked me what order I was waiting for. By this time I was very frustrated because 2 people asked me what I was waiting for and the original guy asked the same thing. I’m thinking this has got to be a joke but clearly it wasn’t. My pizza was not ready in 5 minutes like I was told it was more like 1/2 hr.

We love this pizza! They always get our order right except for once (gluten error) but they apologized and made it correct. The staff is friendly too (which is rare these days) Thank you River City for being awesome

Let me just say, the pizza is wonderful here. That said, it’s WAY over priced! I got 3 SMALL pizzas and a salad and it was over $70! Was told pizza would be ready in 40 minutes, got there at exactly 40mins after ordering only to be told “we just now started cooking it”. Just one bench to sit on, which it’s a small space anyway. Still, good pizza if you aren’t in a hurry.

They comepletly forgot to make one of my pizzas , so said it would only take 5 min for the other one. Asked if my other pizza would be could by then or If they should just remake both. She cuts me off rudly and says no it only takes 5 minutes to remake so it should be warm by the time u get the other pizza. I have to drive home too….its not like I’m eating it there. Didn’t offer to discount the order or anything and very rude like I’m the one who messed up. Ended up being almost 10 min longer.
