Overall, it was just an average experience. Decided to try their restaurant week menu, and it was good. The service was great. Tried their Gnocchi stuffed with veal, and when it came out, it looked more like a ravioli. It was tasty, though. My wife’s seafood dish was supposed to be made over risotto, but it was orzo rice instead. My recommendation would be to just name the dishes for what they are. Not sure if I will be back.

Wonderful evening with friends at this establishment. You can’t beat the service as there are plenty of staff taking care of various functions and you never feel like you’re waiting on something or someone. The food was wonderful and I took the suggestion of the young waiter on what his favorite dish was. Pollo con Prosciutto it was and turned out to be a fantastic choice. The wife enjoy Fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp and it was wonderful as well. The prices are very good and service is amazing. We’ve been here once before as just a couple so I typically don’t write a review until we’ve tried a place more than once.

Great atmosphere, excellent food, fantastic service. We visited with a larger group. Great experience! We got the lasagna and eggplant both delicious and refined. A+

It was sufficiently average italian food. The food reminded me of going to a hotel wedding banquet. Not much use of garlic, and herbs and spices. Everything seemed very generic and pre-prepared. Prices were competitive, and drink specials competitive.

You have dinned around NOVA, DC , and Richmond but no place place has original highest quality Italian food, music and service like Renato’s. Even the coffee is awesome! The prices for a full meal on a table cloth with warm bread and bottled water is less than a steak and cheese at Jersey Mike’s. Treat yourself to early century quality enjoy lunch or dinner here.

Food seemed meh to us. It has been much, much better on past visits. Service was way slow. We sat inside at main entrance area… one other table occupied in that section. I don’t know how many times our server walked by before ever greeting us and getting a drink order… at least a dozen. Had to waive down to get refills. Had the eggplant dish… it was not ripe, green, and bitter… no way it was prepared right… the sauce and cheese did a so-so job at masking the bitterness.

Ordered the chicken Milano. Swimming in sauce. Plating was sad. One breaded breast in a plate full of sauce. It did taste good but would have been better with only 1/4 of the sauce. Salad was iceberg. No romaine. Dressing was good but again way too much.

Avoid. There are better restaurants in Fredericksburg. The ingredients of the salad, charcuterie board, and tomato based pastas seemed familiar. Then I had an epiphany, they were the same grocery items that my wife and I bought from Aldi when we are broke college students.

Hands down some of the best Alfredo I’ve ever had. & can confidently say the best white sangria I’ve ever had. Staff were friendly & attentive. Tom, who seated us, gave us great recommendations & was very personable. I would drive all the way from Arlington to Fredericksburg just to eat here again.

My husband and I were able to make a reservation the night before we wanted to go. Our table was ready even when we showed up 15 min early. The whole staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was very good and we asked to sit outside because it was nice weather, their outside set up is nice, too.
