Found this place looking for something to eat once we made it to Alabama. I’m so happy we found this place, great food, great service and the DJ for karaoke was the bomb. com. Best weekend yet

Our new local favorite. We have always talked about visiting it but didn’t know if it was one of those places where you’d feel awkward not being a regular. We were dead wrong. Service is fantastic. The food is fantastic. The people we’ve interacted with are friendly and you can tell why people come back regularly. A nice outdoor seating area. Activities most nights. It does allow smoking indoors, depending on who you ask that’s good or bad. Great drink selections of draft, cans/bottles and the bartenders are all extremely capable to mix up any drink or shot you’d like!

One of the last true great American dive bars. I love this place. Meet one of their bartenders just once and they’ll know you by name the next time you walk in. Sure it’s dark and smoky and gritty; if that’s not your thing you’re welcome to go to the pretentious joints in downtown Bham and have $15 weak drinks with Gen Zs with ironic mustaches and mom jeans. Rio’s is a fun place with a diverse crowd and great for people watching or having random conversations with strangers. The staff is real and always friendly. The food is your typical bar food menu, but I’ve never had bad food here. The wings are some of the best I’ve ever had. The beer is cheap (seriously where else are you gonna fill your stomach and catch a buzz for $20?). And the karaoke is…well…let’s just call it entertaining. Idk where the handful of bad reviews came from but I can only assume it’s salty competition or just downright miserable people. This place is great!

We had a great time. The service was awesome. We enjoyed listening to karaoke. I would say our waitress needs to pursue a career in singing, her voice is special.

We parked and stepped out of the car and was checking out the area and the owner comes out yelling at us rudely telling us to move our car if we weren’t going to come in.

This is a good place with good food. Several TVs to watch games on and a bar. This place is always packed. It’s that good.

This place is so far from decent. The owner lady took the wheel off my wheelchair and told me to crawl home. I couldn’t believe it! Then she asked me if her rag smelled like chloroform. I thought she was talking about perfume next thing you know I’m strapped in my chair and some weird dude was taking my picture I was very confused. But the owner kept blaming me even though I only had 1 drink.
